I loved larvae Mothra...I want more Mothra and Godzilla.

 

I think King Kong vs Godzilla will do better than King of Monsters. Not saying quality or anything just that the "Versus" will probably move more tickets as opposed to just another sequel. Just don't make it so dang rainy and dark this time!

that scene with Ken Wantannabe where he chooses to sacrifice himself to deliver the nuke to Godzilla's lair. As that scene was going on I was scratching my head as to how come they couldn't just call in some nukes from another source. Maybe he really did just want to be killed off from these movies.

I hope Zhang Ziyi reprises her role as Dr. Chen in the Kong vs. Godzilla movie. I liked her character far more than the misfit Russell family, that's for sure.

 

I'm pretty sure Zhang Ziyi will reprise her role. I mean, I feel like the film set this up...

Godzilla: Planet of Monsters. This is visually amazing.

 

I really enjoyed Godzilla vs. Hedorah. Visually, the psychedelic moments and animation were great fun.

Enjoyed the low-fi corpses too (broken mannequins and plastic skeleton anatomy kits).

Not as much as Godzilla as I'd like, but...

 

King of Monsters was enjoyable though not intelligent. Which is a balance I haven’t seen movies strike in over a decade. A worthy rebuttal to Marvel’s monotonous dumbness. I would gladly see another entry in the series.

 

I really liked the first 2 of this Godzilla anime, but the last one was too drawn out. I mean you talk about monologuing. Sheesh.

 

Godzilla Vs. Kong Has Been Delayed

News items say at an annual toy fair in Kong Kong there was a spoiler showing that Mecha-Godzilla would be in Godzilla vs Kong.

 

well the post-credit in King of Monsters kind of screamed mecha-Godzilla if they use King Ghidorah's head. They'll probably team up to beat him as the 3rd act Big Bad.

 

Godzilla > Kong. And any twist, plot crap, anything that has Kong defeat/destroy Godzilla will be unsatisfactory. The first new Godzilla movie was great, King of the Monsters had good parts but I didn't care for it, and this 3rd film looks like it's gonna be a letdown. I will go see it, but I am not optimistic.
