    I've seen enough of it.

It's annoying as hell the way all these rap fans and wankstas act like every little move some celebrity gangsta does is amazing because "They're doing their thing!" especially if it has some sort of elite 'in-joke'ness or 'in-serious'ness. Even more annoying is when someone comes up with a term that people use over and over and over again and when that gangsta uses it on TV or whatever people go crazy.

A good example of all of this is that Snoop Dogg loser. People go crazy over every little word he uses, especially if it's slang, for no reason. Example:

Late Night Talk Show Host: Snoop, what are you doing?
    Snoop: I'm chillin'.
    Audience: AHHH! OMG! He's chillin'!

That is so damned ridiculous! Why don't they do that with George Lucas too!?

Late Night Talk Show Host: George, what are you doing?
    George: I'm-I'm resting.
    Audience: AHH! OMG!

They act like they're some sort of enlightened spiritual figure. They take it so seriously and it gets so ridiculous when they go around shooting people because they "THREW A SIGN! OMG!" that if you asked them why they shot that person they'd have no reason entirely, but hey, they're part of an elite club of people who throw dey signs, walk with wiggly shoulders and move in a spiritually enlightened way! LOOK AT THEM! LOOK AT HOW HE DOES HIS THANG! He's doing his thing, it's what he's famous for! OMG! He-he's chillin'! Look at him chill! Look at that izzle!
With all those stupid-assed slang terms it's as if they force them out without saying them as freely as something like "Cool" or whatever. Take "Bling bling" for example. On Jimmy Kimmel Live when Method Man was hosting for a week all he said was "Bling bling!" to the point where I got so mad that I grabbed my TV and threw it at the neighbor's car. It's as if he was making too much of a conscious effort to say the word because it's the 'Cool thing to say'. I got your "Bling Bling" right here!*Shakes fist*

I wish I had a stupid elite band of followers too!

Late Night Talk Show Host: Sh-Shorty, this is Late Night Talk Show Host, I'm talking to you over the phone. We have a lot of your fans here.
    Shorty: Hey, eeeeeeeey....
    Audience: AHHHH! It's him! OMFHUYGDUYDG!
Late Night Talk Show Host: What are you doing at the moment?
Shorty: I'm sitting down eating nachos.
    Audience: WOOOHOOOOOO! You go boy!
Shorty: *Quote that makes him famous*
    Audience: *Goes crazy again*
Shorty: I think... We have people in the audience.
    Audience: AHHHHHHHHHHHH! WOOHOO!
Late Night Talk Show Host: Wow, this is some following you have here.
    Shorty: Awwwwww, yeah, gitty up.
    Audience: WOOOOOOOHOOOOO! AHHH! OMG!
Late Night Talk Show Host: Is there anything you'd like to say to the audience?
    Shorty: Awwwwwwwww yeeeaaaah, git rizzle....
    Audience: OMG!

YAY! Come on, become my elite fans you bunch of JC losers!

Let me get this straight, you got up, went outside, went into your neighbours yard and threw your remote at their car? What kind of thing is that to do when you're mad?! That takes too much control!

Rappers are not gangsters. That would be the mafia. Rappers are too dumb to run an illegal business that encompases hitmen, crime lords and vasts amounts of money. Most of them are just shallow morons whos egos are so big that they think they are "GANSTAS". Damon Dash is one such Egotistical dumb$#@%.

But Snoop Dogg is hilarious and you gotta love them Hos.

All Rappers are sell-outs. They care more about money and driving Escalades than anything else.

    Except maybe Outkast.

I'll just say that I've followed the hip hop genre for a long time since I was about 15. Truth be told it was the only type of music I listened to when I was in my teens. Anyway I'm quite aware of the history of hip hop, its inspirations from reggae and poetry and what not. Heck, I was raised in NJ where most of the big heads are. And I'll say that I don't think hip hop back then got a good rep, and understandably so. You'd hear cuss words, "weird" slang, men talking about women in what would be in another society a disrespectful manner. But beyond it, there was true meaning. The music was about REAL things that people go through everyday. It wasn't the usual sugar coated "I love you" or "PITY ME NOBODY LIKES ME" songs or that you heard all the time on the radio. These were songs about surviving, having fun, good friends gone, and the horrors of the ghetto. Most of the good stuff came from the underground, but you had some real good mainstream guys - i.e. real popular choice would be 2pac and Biggie. But there were lots of other guys and groups like A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, KRS-One, Wu-Tang - which included Method, ODB, RZA, for example. And for a long time, hip hop was not being recognized correctly to the media or even people who weren't familiar with it. To other people, its only about killing and cussing and what not. It was a very unfair stereotype.

But then, eventually after 2pac and Biggie got shot, and the emergence of Bad Boy Records did Hip Hop finally get noticed. Surprisingly, thats when everything went down the tubes. Every song started becoming about who's watch was bigger, who had the most girls, who's got the car and who doesn't, who's a punk and who's not, or I got the money and you don't. And what was worse was that the public suddenly embraced it. And to be honest, I hate what rap stands for now. At least the mainstream rap. Underground rap is to me where the true meaning of hip hop has still survived, but the mainstream side of it? Its utter crap, and I agree whole heartedly its just a bunch of egotistical over exposed mothers who think they're all bad but based on their words they don't understand a dang bit about what Hip Hop stood for to begin with. All the bad stereotypes that Hip Hop had gotten in the past now exists, and amazingly enough is now exposed to make money.

This is how sad rap is these days. Their best representation of what Hip Hop really stood for is Eminem. A white guy. I love Eminem, because here's a guy who rhymes about the things that matter. Sure he has a few dumb songs, but for the most part they have a meaning whether it be a comedic piece, an anger piece, a sad piece. He evokes true emotion in his music. Same with DMX and a few guys out there. But this Ja Rule, an overrated 50 cent - whom I respect but still see him actin closer to the egotistical side, and all these other posers. You all hate what Rap stands for? Well take it from a guy who cares for the Real thing behind rap, and I hate it a whole lot more than any of you guys. Its pure crap now.

I still love RAP music, but it has turned into garbage now and most of the rappers that come out today are morons. Eminem, DMX, Outkast, Twista and a few others are the only authentic rappers left. The rest of them are just a bunch of bling-bling dimwits.
