In the PT I know the timespand between each movie. There is a 10 year gap between TPM & AOTC and a 3 year gap between AOTC & ROTS and a big 20 year gap from ROTS to ANH. But what about the OT? How much months/years passes between ANH and ESB? Then how many months/years passes between ESB and ROTJ?

About 3 between ANH and ESB. And just 1 between ESB and ROTJ. I think that's right. And there's no d at the end of span.

About 3 years or months? And are you sure of that or is it just your assumption?

Darth Wolvo's right with the dates, except that Attack of the Clones is a little more than 10 years after The Phantom Menace, since Anakin is going on 10 in The Phantom Menace but 20 in Attack of the Clones. But, for all intents and purposes, it's 10 years.

i believe anakin is 9 throughout TPM but 10 at the very end when we see him with his jedi haircut

also at the very start of the AOTC novel, shimi realises that it is anakin's 20th birthday

Well, I doubt that any of the movies is separated by "x" number of years EXACTLY. It's probably all rounded. ie. TPM-AotC could be 10 years, 4 months, and 9 days or something. But no one is going to say, "it's been 10 years, 4 months, and 9 days since the battle of Naboo", they'll just say it's been 10 years.

Three years between ANH and ESB, and one year between ESB and ROTJ.

I always saw 18 years between the birth of Luke and Leia and ANH, but now I see them placing ROTS 19 years before ANH, sometimes even 20. So I guess that means they'll have to redo all of those timelines they've made over the years.
