I know there's already a thread dedicated to the top 10 favorite Star Wars music on this section of the forum. But now, how about a top 20? It might be hard for some to choose as there are more possibilities and it took me some time to make my own list. But here it is below.
Before I list a quick twenty off the top of my head, let me be pedantic for a moment: I've seen a lot of folks using the term "songs" to refer to their favorite Star Wars music. Songs have words being sung; most Star Wars score is orchestral music with no lyrics being sung (leaving the DOTF argument aside - there's a very old thread here somewhere about that). The score that John Williams writes has cues written for particular scenes in the films. On the soundtrack album (CD/LP/digital download), the score is broken into tracks, which may or may not exactly follow the cues from the score.
