For this list I want to think of the ten SW sets that have fired my emotion and imagination the most from film and TV. Which set would I love most to step inside I have stood on the Tunisian location*

'ere hold up - what about the Death Star sets in ANH ?

Star Destroyer bridge is a good one. I'd like to see a good action scene set there.

I take it that we're talking practical sets, which is why I haven't listed Otoh Gunga at #1 and the Kamino Cloning Facility at #2. If I recall correctly, the floor of the Otoh Gunga council chamber was built for real, but it's nothing without its CGI extensions (and inhabitants).

Honourable mentions include Fortress Inquisitorius, the interior of Ahsoka's T-6 Jedi Shuttle, and the Resistance base on Ajan Kloss.

I’d still note them, especially since “firing emotion and imagination” were mentioned, and “what set you’d want to step inside.” Movie magic comes into play in every scene, including practical sets built on location.

 

Oh, I agree. But since the OP has clarified their intent, they'll have to stand as additional mentions (and again, would totally be #1 and #2 otherwise). I also considered listing the Mos Espa Podrace Arena but, since it was a practical miniature, that's just a big ol' blurry line!

 

I was kinda thinking of sets you could walk into it and immerse yourself. Some really good suggestions in the thread. I thought the Andor sets were incredible
