I hope this isn't already in another thread, because I'll feel dumb then. Maybe a moderator will help me out.
Anyways, I had a really strange thought about the scene after Anakin's Tusken killings where Yoda is meditating. The voice we hear is obviously Qui-Gon saying "Anakin, Anakin!", but I am almost certain that the "Nooo!" is not Qui-Gon. It would not be that hard for Georgey to get Liam to record a little smitip, and if it is Qui-Gon, then they did a bad job of making it sound like that. I am certain it's not a Tusken, as some have thought, because Sand People don't speak basic. I've even heard it was Anakin, but that poposterous (sp?). Anyways the point of this thread is that I thought the "no" part might be Clieg Lars. I know, I know, that's toally insane, but it could be. I read a fan fiction one time that had a really great part where Owen at first refused to take baby Luke, because he was biased against Jedi because of what Anakin had done to the Tuskens.....BECAUSE (break for breath), the Tuskens came back and got their revenge by damaging the Lars' homestead, and killing Cleig. Cleig probably dies from complications of his leg injury, but I thought this theory was different and interesting. Anyone have any thoughts.

    [*SOS*]

BTW: in that same meditation scene, after the "no" line you can hear the faint breathing of our favorite masked Sith. Hee Hee it's so cool.

Your theory is very interesting, but GL confirmed on the AOTC DVD audio commentary that the whole thing was said by Qui-Gon.

I myself always thought the "NO!" part had a slight sound of Liam's voice. Maybe it's just me.

Yea, I know I'm wrong. Plus when you put the English sub titles on it says "[Qui-Gon Jinn's voice]- Anakin, Anakin. Noooo!"

It's not entirely Qui Gon- there's a bit of Darth Vader's breathing at the end.

I thought the "NOoooo" sounded more like Yoda, myself...

Yeah it's so clear, you could really hear that in the theater.

Yea, I love how you can hear it. That was one forshadowing thing that wasn't TOTALLY OBVIOUS. Lol. I hope we're not worn out on the Imperial March by the end of EP III.

The "Nooooo!" did could be mistaken for Cliegg Lars, but as said above, it is all Qui-Gon Jinn.

Yea, I'm pretty sure it was Qui-Gon, I just hate that it's explained that simply. Maybe I'm used to "there has to be something more to it". lol. That sucks that's the "nooo" isn't something hella cool like Cleig.
