    Hello!

Well if you can believe this, it has been almost 1 year since TRAILER A has made its way online, and now after 5 years of grueling shooting days we are pleased to announce that you will get to see more into the heart of Toy Wars: The Phantom Scalper Menace THIS FRIDAY! The trailer will run about 2:25 and is packed with story details and some wonderful cinematic shots. I guarantee you it will blow the socks off of the first Toy Wars movie, but I don't have to tell you that when you see the trailer for yourself.

Starting at 8am PST Friday I will post another thread for the official trailer discussion so you can give me your thoughts on what is to come. I'm sure you'll all be very pleased with what we have created.

    Any questions let me know!

Take care, and thank you to the people who have shown such support over the years in this production. We're almost done!

    Sincerely,

    Ryan Czaplinski
    Director
    RWC Productions

I've learned my lesson well with announcing release dates, so I'd rather give that out when the movie is done this time. Originally it was slated for release by the end of this year. We still have just 10 days of shooting left, so not ALL the scenes are done like 2 of the big climactic battles. If I could estimate for you a time POSSIBLY, I would say MAYBE February. As far as length we have estimated it to run about 2 hours.

Comments on the trailer and how much interest into the movie on the boards will be a huge factor in determining if I will put the movie on the net. Your feedback is important!

Thanks! Hope you like the trailer Friday. I wanted to make sure it got done before I announced it so I wouldn't have setbacks ;)

?[face_plain] I was looking on your site and you said there that you would not release it to the internet... Is this right or wrong?

    Spot,

I've been getting some feedback from people like Daft Maul and EagleIFilms and they had mentioned some good arguments as to why it wouldn't be a problem posting it.

I have tossed the idea around that the internet version could contain different music in spots that I'm unsure about releasing on the net other than Star Wars. Additionally a few scenes may get cut too. It's not that they're inappropriate, but the fact that there are a few people we didn't get a full agreement on putting their face on the web. I'm still trying to figure out if it's okay that I put Beanie babies in my movie for use on the net for TFN. Doesn't sound like it will be any big problem.

I just don't want any lawsuits in the future, that's all I worry about if I by some odd chance become very successful in what I do.

If the response is great from the trailer and that people genuinely would love to see the movie, I will put forth extra effort into replacing music in certain spots and cutting a few bits from the feature for internet.

If there's any official postings or anything anyone knows about in regards to fanfils and using copywritten material I'd love to see it. I'd be less weary.

    Thanks!

    Ryan

    P.S. 4 days til Trailer B!!!

I just updated the site with a countdown clock for those keeping track. :D

I also updated the possibility of placing the film on the net. I may need some assistance with getting a piece of music from someone here who has something composed for a rough 3 minute training sequence as well as a 3 or so minute introduction, but I won't ask of this more til nearing the completion of the film.

    Thanks for reading!
