Triumph the Insult Comic Dog

What did you guys think of the segment on Conan a few months back with Triumph at the AOTC line? I just saw it and I thought it was pretty funny.

My favorite part is when the guy dressed as Mr. Spock flips off the people in line.

 

It was comedy gold.

I just thought of something. How about a reality show where they have "geeks from other dimensions" trying to live with one another? Now that would be a reality show I would actually watch, probably just for the various Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, comic book, video game, and anime references that would get thrown around every week. And every once in a while they would show the cast at a convention.

 

To the guy in the Vader costume:

"With which of these buttons do you call your parents to pick you up"

... or something like that

On a non-SW related note,

Ed the Sock is sooooo much funnier than Triumph

It was the best...especially with the gut who did the Vader impression: "look at this one....hes some kind of super nerd"

I didn't see that skit (being on Conan, it was probably hilarious, that guy is so f'ing funny). But I did see this re-run from SNL from last year, in which they did this skit of Behind the Movie: Attack of the Clones. It was histerical. Darrel Hammond immitated George Lucas perfectly. Plus, they had the funniest Jedi Council which consisted of Alf and Eric Cartman and numerous others. It was really funny.

 

I was amazed at the people acting out TPM. Come on did you see that guy who was playing Jar Jar? There's a point where you take it too far.

 

Those guys are Star Wars dorks. The wedding? The acting out of TPM?

Hey, I spend time on a SW message board, but acting out TPM and getting married Star Wars style is definitely going too far. But if it makes them happy, I still think they're dorks.

I've got that entire segment on CD, a co-workers son gave it to me... best SW related thing I ever got from a co-worker!

The one with the pregnant lady was the best... I don't think I can quote it on here though!

You mean the Dragonmaster? Apparently, he's some guy who really likes pretending he's a wizard (not neccessarily a direct reference to LOTR, mind you). People have gotten his number and crank called him, and he's stayed in character the whole time.

Go figure.
