It isn’t hard to explain what went wrong. Once upon a time, the Father, Son and Daughter won the Cosmic Wars against the dastardly and eldritch Old Ones. The children of the Father cultivated civilisations, Light and Dark, and waged wars for millennia. People suffered. And, if people changed anything, an Old Ones named Abeloth would be unleashed and reset the galaxy. With murder, genocide and devastation. Then, the Son and Daughter would lock her back up, and the cycle would continue. One hundred millennia of this. So, a benevolent/malevolent genius in a Black Coat conspired to disease the Father, and in his illness, the Son and Daughter fought, and the three Gods died. Sublime. That meant things could be Changed - fixed, and put right. Slight problem. To do so, the Black Coat had to fundamentally imbalance the Force. Which meant cultivating a tiny, unimportant Dark Lord of the Sith named Palpatine. Of course, we all know how conniving he is - and well, he became self-aware, and began to create his own Changes! I needed a very specific Change, you see. One caused by another Sith Lord, by the name of Caedus. That would release Abeloth, and, eventually, return the Old Ones to the field and cause the End of Time - a timeline reset! I could weave a One Timeline, to make everyone exist and happy, but no, Palpatine had to mess it up! And thus the Twilight Wars were fought against those who would Change my plan. Everyone resisted, of course. But they had to be encouraged to do what was best. Braata, Sistros, Yanjon, Faya, they did their bit. Others, too. Barriss, Ren, Sam, Ike, Bernael, Feyna, Madelyn, Zurros. All fighting for their own peace. Well, until Darth Cocytus royally broke the mould. He used the World Between Worlds to go back to before the Father died, so he could undo Palpatine. Which gave the Father the warning - to fight back. Now we’ve multiple Twilight Timelines, and the Force can’t handle it. It’s time for the Crisis.

Much wouldn’t change, to start… If one looked up, you would see another Galaxy in the sky, in essence. Cartographers would immediately be able to ascertain that it was a mirror of their own, or, an alternate version? One was missing Coruscant, and in a Maelstrom of war. Rebels were gathering on Hapes to fight back. One was seemingly more peaceful, but nonetheless in the middle of an election for Chancellor. At Gargon, Force certainties were coming together. Another was in the grip of a dictatorship, a Galactic Confederacy, currently bombarding Alderaan into submission. At Mortis, the Darknesses - the incarnated Old Ones themselves - were fighting for supremacy. Hyperlanes began to be plotted by droids, by mathematicians, by geniuses. They all confirmed the same thing. Something had pulled the three galaxies into each others visual spectrum, as if plucking them out against the galactic backdrop. One hyperlane proved viable. Bedlam. It was for some reason, now apart of its own placement. All three timelines could be connected to via the insane asylum of Bedlam. In each timeline, Artoo Detoo discovered and would disseminate the data to those who needed to know…
At the End of Time The three of them regrouped at the Citdael at the End of Time (also known as the Tower After Time). Ike recovered, but Aden’s trail led back to the Tower… The shredded Black Coat was on the floor. A Darkness had been defeated, yes, by Yanjon, and Braata and Sistros had driven one off and out of a Ben Skywalker. But Lumiya had vanished, with her Darkness in tow. And now three timelines were closing in on each other. Two they could access, one they could not. They were congregating, creating their own weight. In the One Timeline, another three moments came together. --- Some twenty-eight millennia ago, Sasa’ke arrived at Crakull, and there he stood, in the middle of the vast emptiness. The Black Coat. Or, the Black Coat of Christmas Past. He held out a hand. “Sasa’ke, we need to talk.” TAG: @Mitth_Fisto (combo) During the Clone Wars, young, teenage Sybelle was commed; drawn into a discussion late at night on Nubia… Palpatine wished to speak to her. Young Aryan was asleep; sedated(!). It was in the evening after the inauguration of the brand new Destroyer, the Valorum. Palpatine looked different, in robes of black. “Girl, I know about the pregnancy.” TAG: @Lady_Belligerent (combo), mention for @HanSolo29 for now A year before the events of Dark Reach, a Sybelle from the Twilight Timeline was meeting with the One Aryan, and had just arrived at Exegol… betrayed by their droid. The ship was locked in, heading to the surface to meet with Palpatine. “Sybelle, I know you came from another place and time… and I wish to know you better… in-exchange for letting Aryan go.” TAG: @Lady_Belligerent, @HanSolo29 (combo) This was known to the One of Ones. But they could do many things, but not all. They could act, but they could not Change. They knew the events of Palpatine, of Rey, of Ben, of the battles of Jakku and Exegol. They knew that Palpatine would lose. But between here and then? Could they find an enemy to destroy? A plot to thwart? A critical point to save them all? TAG: @Mitth_Fisto, @HanSolo29, @Lady_Belligerent (combo as the One of Ones)
