Starting on Tuesday, there will be a game called Two Truths and a Lie. There will be three statements, and the first person to guess the lie will win a week of colors from @Juliet316 . It will be held every Tuesday. Like Wacky Wednesdays, nobody needs to sign up. Just be the first one to guess and win! Example: 1) I have two sisters named Jessica and Danielle. 2) I have been to Disneyland. 3) I have had my picture taken with an actress who was in a Captain America movie. In this case, the lie is #1: I don't have any sisters...or brothers, since I'm an only child. So, starting this Tuesday, I'll post three statements. The subjects could be about anything, so be prepared. Good luck.
On some Tuesdays, I'll only post one round of three statements. Others, I might post two. Today, it's only going to be one set. Once again, the first person to correctly guess the lie will get a week of colors from @Juliet316 #1: I once broke my wrist playing soccer at a friend's house. #2: I have been to Scotland. #3: I have had my picture taken with an actress who was in one of the Captain America movies. Good luck.
Correct! You are this week's Two Truths and One Lie winner. A week of colors from @Juliet316 . #1 did happen when I was in second grade. I was playing over at a friend's house. I tried kicking the ball, but missed and fell and broke my wrist. #3 did happen the week before last. I had a photo opp with three actresses from Doctor Who, one of whom had a cameo in Captain America: The First Avenger.
Now for today's 2 truths and a lie: The first person to correctly guess the lie will get a week of colors from @Juliet316. #1 I have never been to San Antonio. #2 I was my high school mascot my senior year. #3 I saw Aladdin (1992) eight times when it came out in the theaters.
Congratulations, @Jedi Bluth . #1 is indeed the lie. I went to San Antonio with my family back in 2017. A week of colors from @Juliet316 . As for #2 and #3: I was the high school mascot my senior year and I did get my parents to take me to see Aladdin 8 times in 1992. I was only 10 that year.
Thanks @PCCViking, @Iron_lord, & @Juliet316 I knew the 3rd answer was true, so it was a 50/50 shot with the first two.
I hate to admit it, but the only movie that I've seen 8 times or more in the theater was The Phantom Menace on my own dime. I do recall my parents taking me and my siblings to see Jurassic Park maybe 3-4 times in the theater. It was at an old rundown theater called the Ritz in downtown Scranton where it was a dollar per ticket.
Today's 2 Truths and a Lie. The first person to correctly guess the lie will get a week of colors from @Juliet316 . #1 I have been on a cruise. #2 I have been to Boston. #3 I once worked for Disney.
