So I saw it at the Tinseltown off 290 because it's by my house. 12:01 am show.

Couldn't believe they started the movie from "A long, time ago, in a galaxy far, far away." I mean, no Fox fanfare, no Lucasfilm LTD., just BOOM here it is. And the lights weren't even off yet. Really disappointing.

Also was surprised at how bad the sound in that theater is. We we sitting a few rooms up from the middle, in the 2nd room off the 2nd tier. LOW audio that took some getting used. Had to strain to hear the rears.

Almost went today to get my money back.

Still, I enjoyed the movie. But I do rank it behind Jedi, althought that's not a putdown. 5-4-6-3-2-1.

I'll post some questions I'm left with in another message.

I quit going there and switched to the Marq*e. It is cleaner and just more relaxed. The people working there look like they actualy enjoy there jobs.

I agree with StormMoose ... that theatre has gone down hill the past couple of years. I saw all of the Star Wars movies (except this last one) at that theatre.

I saw TPM there and it was special has my wife had A root canal that day and was still willing to go. She stood in line and got rained on and still rembers my reaction when she told me we were going. I have had alarms go off and several dirty screens that made me quit going there. For ATOTC, we were at Willowbrook. Not bad but slow lines to get food. The Marq*e won me over with how easy it was to get tickets. The managers want you to enjoy your movie. AMC Dunvale is my second choice. When Cinemark learns how to clean up after themselves, I may give them A chance.
