So I'm feeling somewhat outgunned in the LOTR trivia thread...and I think to myself why not start a Trivia thread based on something that I actually know about!

Such is the Origin of the X-Men trivia thread.

Also, if the last person who answered correctly doesnt post a question, feel free to post your own.


I'll start you off with a relatively simple one.

Q: Who was the second villain the original X-Men team fought? (Bonus: What was his hairstyle?)

How about a tough one?

Who first met Prof. X at Oxford, while they were both graduate students?

What was the outcome?

 

A: The then Moira Kinross, later the Mrs. Moira MacTaggert. I believe the outcome was Xavier joining the millitary, but Im not so sure if that was what you were looking for.

Q: Who originally broke Xaviers legs so he couldnt walk?

 

Was it his half brother Juggernaut? I always wondered that, but never knew.

 

Correct, it was Moira.

She was "forced"' to marry for political reasons, so Charles travelled around the world.

I believe it was the alien scientist "Lucifer" who broke his legs. I think he collasped part of a cave on Charles.

 

Who was the first "evil" mutant Charles encountered?

And why were things not as they seemed?

 

There has to be some sort of mutant with healing powers than can cure Mr. X's legs. I would think anyway. I'm a n00bie about X-men

That's exactly what happened in New X-Men. Xorn healed Xavier's legs with his healing powers.

Anyway, back to the questions....

 

I think that the Prof's legs are currently healed. Artifically grown I think...

He also went through a period of time when he had cybernetic(or maybe cloned tissue) legs. They were a gift from his lady friend of the Shi'ar Empire. I believe they were smashed in battle.

 

Yeah, Prof. X's legs are like characters dying in any comic book. They always come back or in his case, he always get paralyzed again.
