I wasn’t sure where else to post this and I’ll understand if the moderators close it after deeming it inappropriate. But I certainly don’t intend this comparison lightly. I’ve already seen the issue referenced offhandedly in a few other various, random forums across the internet, and forgive me if it’s already been posted here on this site; I at least could not find any such thread.

In short, aspects of what Rodger expressed in his now infamous Youtube video are strikingly similar to the angst-turmoil depicted in the latter two prequels concerning Anakin (i.e. "It’s not fair!" - "Slaughter them like animals!"), even if only in tone. I don’t mean to make light of a very real and tragic situation in comparing it to a bunch of space fantasy movies, but I do think it worth addressing the very real human themes that Lucas wove into his storytelling that deals with the psychology of a questionable upbringing.

Anyone else here notice this? Any thoughts?

Baz Note: Locking...I dont think its appropriate, especially so soon after the incident, to compare Anakin's angst to Elliot Rodger sickening manifesto.
