Just an update on the victims of the San Francisco Zoo tiger attacks:

One of the two brothers mauled by a tiger at the San Francisco Zoo on Christmas Day 2007 is making headlines again.

Kulbir Dhaliwal and his brother, Amritpal, were with Carlos Sousa on the day Tatiana the Siberian tiger somehow escaped her enclosure at the zoo and attacked the trio. Sousa died as a result of the attack and the Dhaliwal brothers got a $900,000 settlement from the zoo.

Some of that settlement money went to buy drugs, or so it would seem.

For the second time in two years, Kulbir was arrested. This time it was for suspicion of felony possession of three grams of cocaine and being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

San Jose State University police stopped a car that was heading the wrong way on San Fernando Street at about 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, university police Sgt. John Laws said.

Police arrested the driver, Tarlok Dhaliwal, for suspicion of driving under the influence. They thought the passenger, Kulbir, was also under the influence. Kulbir had a three grams of cocaine in a yellow baggie, Laws said. Tests results to see if Kulbir was high at the time of the arrest are pending.

The driver, Tarlok Dhaliwal, was not arrested. His relation to the brothers, if any, is unknown.

Police stopped Kulbir and a friend in 2007 for suspicion of drunken driving. When police tried to cuff him, he became uncooperative and they had to forcibly restrain him, police said.

I would've preferred that all 3 had died instead of the tiger.

It get's better. A few days ago two of these idiots (I get the lot of them confused) were arrested in San Mateo
(about half-way between SF and San Jose); one for DUI (open bottle of Grey Goose on the front seat), the other
for lying to the police. The second one's in jail for ten days pending his parole violation hearing. I wish I
kept the article but everyone in this neck of the woods are sick and tired of hearing about these a*******.

    Poor tiger.
