Since I don't have a DVD drive on my computer, I want to use a Apacer Disc Steno 300, it can read DVDs, however when I put one, with it hooked up to USB, nothing happened.

I'm wanting to use this to install Adobe Production Premium CS3.

Does anyone have any experience with this or helpful articles? Thanks!

It was made to work as a standalone system, you might need some drivers to get it to work on the computer. From a search it doesn't seem common enough for people to know of a compatible driver so you may be out of luck. DVD burners are really cheap now so it would be a good investment to spend the $30 and buy a DVD burner.

You reminded me that it came with an installation disc which included req'd drivers. Thanks for reminding me!
