Yeah you can't get much cooler than weresharks.

That's really more of a werewolf thing though.

I'm not as familiar with Vampire as I am with Werewolf, so it's kinda hard to pick a favourite clan. I like the Tzimisce because vicissitude(sp?) is so cool, but personality-wise, I guess I'd have to say Gangrel. I'm glad they left the Camarilla. I just hope they don't join the Sabbat though.

You play any other Whitewolf games(Werewolf, Mage, etc)?

    I like clan Ravnos too.

As for werewolf, Gurahl and Mokole make good characters.

I never got into Mage much, but the concepts behind the Virtual Adepts sound pretty interesting.

I used to play it and the other World of Darkness games, both table top and live action, but I haven't gamed in a couple years now. My favorite clan was always the Nosferatu, though.

I thought you might have, BJ. I've seen you call yourself a technocrat and was wondering you'd gotten that from Mage:The Ascension

No, the term "technocrat" pre-dates White Wolf by about a fifty years, I'd guess. As you might guess one of my biggest beefs with the World of Darkness setting is it has a wide Luddite streak running through it. In my games, the Technocracy was always unshakably in control, and was in the process of utterly annihilating the Nephandi and their ilk. My favorite cut scene was where I described a group of HIT Marks and MIBs wiping out a Pentex First Team, ripping through a Nexus Crawler like it wasn't even there, then completely destroying a Wyrm Caern that had effortlessly repulsed the local werewolf sept.

I LARPed the Masquerade for years.
I played mostly the Mummy characters in Masqerade, and Were-Sharks when there was the barest meantion of them (pre Blood Tides and the Rokea manual)
Just now I am realizing how much it took over my life, becasue when I stopped playing I never saw the guys I played with twice a week.
    I really miss it now.

mage is one of the coolest games ive played. i havent played much, but ive got a lot of the books, and they are worth it just for the literary value alone. its just so cool. as for the other WoD games, ive heard almost entirely good things. InQuest (Only the coolest and best gaming mag on the FACE OF THE PLANET) really digs 'em. so that's cool. they sure SOUND like really cool games. oh, another thing they've got going for them: they've got a very high playability-by-girls factor (i.e. girls might play if they're 'with it' enough ;)), as opposed to AD&D, which is so entirely testosterrific its crazy.

My first experience with VAMPIRe was thru the card game, Jihad. That was an awesome game, and I figured it out really quick and had probably a very, very, VERY brutal deck, best designed to win when EVERYONE is gunning for you. It was primarily based with using Democritus, the Justicar of the Clan Ventrue, as my primary card; either Anton of Clan Toreador, or Crusher of Clan Brujah. ANd the rest of the deck was built with ways to rebuild my blood pool and to contest the popular low cost vampires that my friends liked to use. It was a devastating deck if you think you are going to rely on popular low cost vampires.

After a while, while my friends and I got the RolePlaying game, I got the RAGE werewolf card game, and almost immediately got the WereWolf: The Apocalypse RPG instead.

We all liked WereWolf better, as it was easier to get into.

I even wrote some novelizations for my friends and I, based on adventures. Everyone thinks they are really good. We had some amazing characters. It was a fun RPG to be sure.
