Vancouver Vancouver Fringe Festival - Sep 8 to 18

The Vancouver Fringe Festival is starting soon, and if you're interested in entertainment that is outside of normal you might find something on the festival's schedule to your liking. Charlie Ross (The One Man Star Wars Trilogy) has been part of the festival in the past, although I don't see his show on this year's schedule. It starts Sep 8 and runs until Sep 18 in various locations around Vancouver, many of the venues are on Granville Island. Tickets are pretty reasonable (in the $10 range), but you gotta buy a membership (one-time fee of $5) to see any of the shows.

The schedule is available online and printed copies are available around town at various 7-Elevens, coffee shops, libraries, etc. If you have a chance, I'd recommend seeing a show or two, 'cuz you won't see this stuff anywhere else.
