i saw this video on VH1 from Vanessa Carlton.... she blatantly steals from the National Geographic TV show.... NOT COOL!!!

yeah, so she probably sampled it legally, it doesn't make it right!!!

Vanessa Carlton is cute and I like some of her music. Ordinairy day is really good song. However Michelle Branch is just the cutest thing ever! And her music is damn good also. Gotta love a chick with a guitar. Damn she is so cute!!!

You should check out Maren Ord, if you can. She's pretty great, in my opinion. Another female singer/songwriter/guitarist that sounds somewhat like Michelle Branch. The only problem is that Maren Ord's CD Waiting is kinda hard to find. I just looked it up on amazon.com, and they say it'll be released on August 27th, which must mean that they're finally going to release the CD in the US. I had to get my copy imported. Either way, check her out if you can. And just to gush a bit more about Maren Ord, I must say that while I totally love "Beautiful," my favorite song of hers is "Harsh Words."
