    Already got the book, so I really don't see the point in getting the ebook.

    It has interviews in it as well. But it'll be given away on the TUF CD.

    To point it out, it's not really "free" as you are paying to subscibe to hyperspace in the first place... It's sort of like when the bank told me I'd get 15 free transactions a month, then quietly mumbled, "when you give us your $10 monthly service fee" Interviews are good, but I'll wait till it comes with my hardcover.

    I don't even actually have a subscription to Hyperspace. I mean when you think about it in the long term, you're going to find out everything on there in 2 years, so why not just spend that $40 on something else.

    Is it a regular PDF, or an eBook (i.e. has encryption and required registration)? If encrypted, how will they put it on the CD?

    You want us to use our money on HS and give it to you for nothing? Yeah, right.

    Well, its an E-Book as LFL said it is an e-book;

    "Free Vector Prime eBook"
    -starwars.com

    It is technically an e-book by the definition of e-book;

    Main Entry: e-book
    Pronunciation: 'E-"buk
    Function: noun
    Date: 1992
    : a book composed in or converted to digital format for display on a computer screen or handheld device

    It is an e-book in non-encrypted PDF format. Encryption or no encryption has nothing to do with the definition of "e-book". Infact IIRC, many of the first e-books were e-books of books in public domain that did not have any encryption.

    Fine, encrypted eBook.

    That definition is going to need to adapt and change.
