Vending Machine Makes Instant "French Fries" From Pellets.

A new vending machine is going on the market and its not just another drink or candy dispensor. This machine will make, in less than ninety seconds, a serving of french fries.

The fries are made from Nestle dehydrated potato pellets that are rehydrated and then molded into the shape of fries and cooked in preheated oil.

Any thoughts? I find it totally disgusting.

Haven't there been french fry vending machines for YEARS in Europe?

 

There are vending machines at the movie theater here in NYC, that have french fries and chicken fingers in a vending machine.

 

Beats me, but this stuff is made from pellets to paste to fries!! If the machine took a potato and cut it in front of me and fried it that way, that would be ok...but this...this is...eewww...grosss...french fried paste!

 

What do you think Pringles are?

 

Waffer-thin mints...er potatoes...

 

Basically...reshaped potato paste.

 

Yeah....but everyone knows that Pringles aren't real food.

 

Mmmmm... tasty.

Now instead of satisfying my craving for some cheese fries, I can go out to my local mini-mart and stop by the ole' vending machine to make up some nice tasty processed-cheese-food formed-potato-paste.

And to make it more heart-healthy, they can make sure to fry it in O-lean, so I can really get the shiznits.

 

I have no doubts that I'll never see the new-fangledness of this invention. I can't even get them to put pudding in the vending machines at work.

On the plus side, however, if technology is already making instant french fries, then instant chalupas can't be far off either.

 

I won't knock'em till I've tried'em... but it sounds a little shady to me.

As long as they taste like normal french fries, there's nothing disgusting about it.

I thought I saw one of these next to the soylent green vending machine around the corner.

 

Dude, if they taste anything like those Salsa Fries, I'm already hooked.

Yeah, dude. Don't eat the soylent green.

 

Maybe they will taste like real fries, maybe they won't, but the concept is just wierd...wierder than colored ketchup!

 

I'd dip the instant Pasty Fries in my colored ketchup. That would be my ultimate meal!
