Ventriss is stupid

Ventriss is quite possibly the worst SW character ever. She is such a wannbee. She acts like a child. I can't stand her.

 

I hate her too.

She killed R4-p17. For that alone she must be destroyed.

One of my favorite parts of season 1 was when she got zapped by Dooku's Force Lightning. ("You are a foolish old man who knows nothing of the Dark Side!", "Hahahaha. Indeed!" BZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZzaaAAAAAAAaaaaP!!! lol)

Can anyone point me to a book, or comic that descibes exacly when and where she meets her well deserved demise?

I want to get my hands on it, sooooooo....much.

 

but it would be cool to see her killing jedi in the movie as well..

And i dont think Asajj has offically died yet in any book or comic (unless it happens at the end of LOE- because im not done with it yet) (and if it does happen there- PM the guy directly so you dont ruin it for me )

I don't like her that much at all either. She has the potential to be a great SW character but just doenst do it for me.


It wouldnt hurt for her to get laid once in a while too. Maybe then she wouldnt be so cranky all the time. And is it so much trouble to use some make-up now and then? GAWD!

 

She's my least favorite Dark Side character, ever (well, at least since those stupid dolts Palps "grants" Dark Side powers to, in Dark Empire.... Whata youssa tinkin'? Them?!?!?!)

I wanted Anakin to *kill* her so badly - she killed R4!!!.

Yes, it *would* be interesting if she was in ROTS, though (but then, will Durge be in ROTS - don't tell me! NO SPOILERS! NO SPOILERS!)

I want to see Darth Sidious kill her!!!

So, she hasn't died in any of the Clone Wars EU yet, then?

This is correct as was just revealed in Obsession #4.

What happened is the following:
Anakin battled her on Coruscant, where she provoked him by saying that she knew about his affair with Padme. He then attacked her and 'killed' her, or so he believed. But Obi-Wan remained unconvinced, and his obsession in finding her grew. They tracked leads and eventually found one in an abandoned spaceship, where they once again encountered Durge, for what is probably the last time. He remained in contact with a certain planet, and so Obi led a team of Jedi, very powerful ones as a note, including Kit, Mace and a new one or two introduced as very powerful just so they could be killed off. They then headed to the planet and part of the group is currently encountering Grievous (Grievous has already eliminated one of their number), while Obi-Wan snuck inside and found Ventress inside what appears to be a bacta tank, very much alive.

 

Nope thats her natural skin color.

Ventress is a cool character, I like the fact that they decided to use a female dark jedi. GG is awesome. We knew eventually that they would have to build a droid or droids or half droid/flesh being to counter the abilities of the jedi. When you think of it, being a jedi isn't really a big deal. It is just a club of beings who have special abilitites and try to use them for good. In a way it mirrors religion. You have those that beilieve in good and those that do things for evil.

 

If anything, i wish she would have played a valuble role in the movies(AOTC & ROTS). That way she could atleast be more widely known.

Not being a force user is what makes GG awesome. The fact that he can take on 5 jedi at one time when Ventriss can't even handle anakin shows how crappy her character is. She gets under my skin. Jar Jar would be a better sith apprentice than her.

GG isn't a wannabe, he is a droid general forced to learn lightsaber skills, if it weren't for Jedi, he would only use his blasters. He doesn't want to be sith he just wants to kill Jedi.

 

I think shes great. A sith wannabe. She appears in the Republic comics were she comes accros as a strong character. It also tells why she turned to the dark side. There are too few females in the SW universe as it is. It would be cool if after ep3 she is employed as one of the Emperors Hands!

 

I don't know what she's like in the Clone Wars 'toon, but she's cool in the Republic Comics. I like her and Grievous equally.

 

Ventress is a great character with a great story. On top of which she was supposed to be who Count Dooku is if George hadn't been so sexist and didn't want a female evil person. On top of which it was her lightsaber design which they gave Dooku (the curved handle).

 

I really want Ventress to die already. Her and Durge are some of my least favorite SW villains ever. They don't hold a candle to the ones seen onscreen.

 

Ventress has the most annoying and corny voice ever. That line "the Jedi shall fall", so dumb!

Ventriss and Grievous I like. It's Durge that I didn't like. I think his character is over rated.

 

She did have a pretty bad voice actress. You see her actually performing the lines on the DVD special features and.. I dunno. Maybe she shows talent in other roles, but not this one that's for sure. And how she goes from fighting Dooku to suddenly saying, "It is an honor," and "What is thy bidding?" or whatever to Sidious feels like really clumsy writing. A result of the short format, but still. Although, the multi-episode duel with Anakin was one of my favorite parts in CW.

 

Yeah, I thought I remember people talking about that jedi from way back.. oh well.. he ain't coming back now


Back on track, seemed reasonable to me that when Ventress meets the Sith Master she would be repectful, spcially since she want to be one and this guy can make her one for real.
