[Verbal SAT FTW] Ludacris vs. Ludicrous

For those of you who suck at teh (sic) spelling and teh (sic) grammar, here's a gentle reminder:

Ludacris: dubiously talented rapper.
Ludicrous: amusing or laughable through obvious absurdity, incongruity, exaggeration, or eccentricity.

Please, when posting on the intraweb, think of the children and use the correct one?

I find your lack of faith in "Move *****, get out tha way" disturbing.

 

My friends in High School used to call me "Luda". It started out because there were two guys named Chris is our group. Since I was smaller (5'4") they called me Little Chris. After time that developed in Ludacris - which sounds the same -, which then turned into Luda.

So what were we talking about again?

Also, Ludo is a fairly dull board game.

Ludicrous comes from the Latin "ludus" meaning "game", and the suffix "-ous" means "full of".

Ludacris comes from nothing and means nothing.

See? Not so hard to remember.
