Malaysia [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/m/my.gif] It's colourful, and I like stars. But I can't help but think I've seen a similar flag somewhere else... not the most original flag. 6/10 Libya [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/l/ly.gif] Man, they really went to town on this one didn't they? I've heard less is more, but I think they took it a bit too literally in this case. Green is always nice though. 4/10 Bosnia and Herzegovina [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/b/ba.gif] Bold, striking colours and simple shapes. Looks a bit like a corporate logo though, which is probably the look they were going for. *cough*EU*cough* 7/10
Ah yes, back when being seen on the battlefield was all the rage. [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/f/fr%5Eimpgo.gif] [image=http://i46.tinypic.com/2m5h2kw.gif] Busy, but rich and powerful. 8/10 for both.
[image=http://www.mapsofworld.com/images/world-countries-flags/slovakia-flag.gif] [image=http://flagsandanthems.com/media/flags/flag-slovenia.gif] Please rate these two, but be VERY careful as to which you should rate higher...

I've always felt Libya should get props for choosing the flag that is easiest to mass manufacture, though.
Slovakia [image=http://www.mapsofworld.com/images/world-countries-flags/slovakia-flag.gif] Simple, clean colours. I've always been a fan of the off-centre device, in this case a shield, which also has the awesome two barred cross in it. 8/10 Slovenia [image=http://flagsandanthems.com/media/flags/flag-slovenia.gif] Similar colours, again an off-centre device, but why is it proped up so high? That's a step too far. Nice stars though. 7.5/10 Angola [image=http://www.internationalimagegallery.com/angola/angola_flag.jpg] It's striking, but a little scary. To copy the hammer and sickle with a machete is a little disturbing. 5/10 The Jolly Roger [image=http://blindkat.hegewisch.net/pirates/jacks/rackham.gif] An instant classic. The use of black with bone white is unmistakable at any distance. 9/10
[image=http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/6396/benningtonflag.gif] My favorite incarnation of the flag. Got one in my room back home. And you should have a tournament pitting all the variations of cross flags against each other. England, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, etc.
Gay Pride Flag [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/s/sex-rb.gif] It's colourful, that's for sure. It reminds me of the 80s for some reason, not sure if that's good or bad. Unfortunately it breaks one of the basic rules of flag design - too many colours. 6/10.
Oh! I need to know which is better: [image=http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/3239/istockphoto5020356flago.jpg] Ivory Coast Flag (or maybe Irish Flag) [image=http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/5070/flag2393311.jpg] Irish Flag (or maybe Ivory Coast Flag)
Cote d'Ivoire [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/c/ci.gif] The classic tricolore design, with simple earthy colours. It doesn't instantly hit you in the face, but at least it doesn't offend. 6/10 Ireland [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/i/ie.gif] Another tricolour with similar colours, but you know what's different? Its 1:2 ratio is more pleasing to my eye. 7/10 Bennington 13-star flag [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/u/us-1777a.gif] The early Stars and Stripes with a difference, it looks good close up, and maintains its look from a distance. Not sure about the stripes starting with white though, I prefer red at the top. 7/10
[image=http://media.animevice.com/uploads/0/4/1740-britannia02_large.png] Flag of the Holy Britannian Empire
British Indian Ocean Territory [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/i/io.gif] What the hell is going on here? My head hurts just looking at this thing. The waves are enough, but then they add a tree and a crown? It's crazy. 2/10 Spain [image=http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/e/es.gif] I love the colours, and the 1:2:1 ratio of the bars gives it a unique look. The shield's nice, but I prefer the non-shielded version. 8/10
