This is for MMM #12 Warm-Fuzzy MMM challenge.

My critter was an oki-poki.

The roses Kyp gave Sevrina on their anniversary were a vibrant wine color. There was a rose for each year.

She smiled tenderly as he handed them to her across the table lit with the ambient glow of tapers after a romantic dinner.

“Gorgeous! I’ve never seen such delectable colors. So rich, so perfect.”

Kyp grinned. “A hothouse where they use oki-poki to eat the insects that could hinder the flowers’ growth.”

She asked, “What’s an oki-poki? Sounds like a dance routine for younglings.”

Kyp laughed. He showed her a picture on his datapadd.

She laughed as well. “I like their blue eyes.”

Kyp smirked. “So would you object to have a couple for your flower beds at the Academy”

Sevrina nodded. “Yes, if blooms such as these are the result. They’ll make my botanical ventures much easier.”

 

Love how you get Kyp and Sabrina together with roses and the oki-poki and the fun about a dance. There was one before WW2

 

What a lovely gift—and what a unique (and ecologically friendly!) way to get rid of pests. With happy, well-fed critters and beautiful flowers as a result, it’s a win all around. I bet the padawans at the Academy will enjoy them as much as Severina
