That poster though. "Welcome to Sith Co. headquarters. Do you have an appointment with the Dark Lord, or are you just visiting?"

Spider-Man meets Star Wars. I loved this, so much symbolism + metaphor. Haunting. Great start.

Great first chapter in this Volume! Loved the visuals and creativity with playing with paint. Also loved the ship design in the final moments..

I also highly recommend checking the 'EXTRA' tab on Disney+ as there is a ~10 minute short for each chapter where creative teams discuss their approach to the story.

This was just gorgeous. And highly original. The darksider, though very similar to that Sith from one of the games, was very effective too. And the droid loading into the ship was such a cool touch. Love the art stuff too. A point off for the Grievous wheel, a vehicle I can’t abide, but this is a 9/10.

A very cool episode indeed. That dual-color lightsaber was pretty neat. The visuals of course were outstanding.

The more imaginative and actually "galaxy far, far away", the less he likes it. His name is bore for a reason. His preferred planet design is Florida and his favorite ship is midsize sudan.

I hate that wheel with legs with the heat of a thousands suns. I want only space minivans on planets that look like Florida, dammit!
    Ill Diss! :)

In all seriousness, though, I love me some wacky Star Wars locations like the Ring of Kafrene and that space station from BOBF, and sweet non-sedan style ships like the N-1 and the B-wing.

But wheels with legs is where I draw the line!

Visually stunning stuff. The villains might have been a bit generic, but great action beats make up for it. Here's your open door for a "grey" Force user... Not sure how I feel about that but the double bladed lightsaber reveal was really well done.

    8/10

Watched it again. Beautiful, original. I’m upgrading it to a 9.5. I even thought the Grievous wheel was cool this time! And that’s a heresy against my former self that I will pay for some day.

What poor taste you have, accepting Grievous's wheel!

Gorgeous animation and great action at the end. I really liked the non-traditional lightsabers: one like a longsword and one a katana.

The animation alone makes this a 10 for me. Visions is the place to go crazy with animation, so glad they picked the painting theme and went all in with it. But it was fun, and I loved that the duel was basically broadsword vs. katana. I thought it was nicely creepy how the Sith turned to dust/ash as he died, rather than serenely fading like Jedi usually do.

Awesome first episode! I want that Sith Lord in live action and played by Javier Bardem. The visuals were spectacular and I loved the little droid!

Wow, beautifully animated and colorful. I think Sabine would give this a 10/10. The neat droid design and the relationship it has with the protagonist are cute. It's like Shin and Fido in 86. Yeah, I liked the Grievous Wheel which was the right vehicle for this aesthetic, and the Tron homage effects. Just in time for accidental subliminal advertising for Tron Lightcycle Run (Measured by Disney standards a solid 5/10 coaster. Go to Epcot and ride Cosmic Rewind). That Sith was menacing. Liked the slow methodical march through the place like a dark shadow contrasted with pretty much everything on screen. Black, the absence of color and light is part of nature. Accepting that it's part of the balance was key to overcoming letting the protagonists prevail splendidly in a light dual that gives anything in the first season a run for its money.
