The complete series starring Jon-Erik Hexum and Meeno Peluce comes out on DVD from Universal on 7/17/07. That's awesome. Anyone else have fond memories of the show?

Here's a link to the cover art.

Looking forward to seeing the show again, It was a favorite as a kid.

Nope, never saw it. Don't mind looking for it, though.

This was one of my first "must-see" TV shows (my very first was the original Battlestar Galactica).

The episode I remember best was when they landed on the Titanic, a few hours before it sank. I think this was one of those "very special episodes", where they debated whether they should change history. IIRC, another Voyager landed on the ship at they same time the other two did, and after the ship sank, the kid was separated from the other two so he used the device he had on him to "jump", but I think the device (what was it called? The Omni?) that he had was faulty, and so his jump was totally blind and it was therefore difficult for the other two to coordinate a jump to the same time coordinates. Of course they found each other in the episode's end though. A "24" style linear plotline was non-existent in American TV in those days, unless it was a soap.

And then the show was cancelled and J-E Hexum moved on to another show (crime drama?) and was playing around with the gun loaded with prop blanks and put it to his head and pulled the trigger and managed to kill himself. These days I believe that sort of thing is eligible for a Darwin Award.
