Two new DCAU films coming - no release dates yet:

    The existing 2019 slate remains:

    Reign of the Supermen (1/29/18)
    Batman: Hush (4/16/19)
Justice League vs. The Fatal Five (8/6/19)
    Wonder Woman: Bloodlines (10/22/19)

It's probably light years away, but I wonder if/when we'll ever see a legitimate live action Supergirl movie. I'm currently reading her comic series and think she's got the potential to rival any other origin story to date. Considering the success of Wonder Woman and the potential success of Captain Marvel, I'd imagine Supergirl would certainly be able to hold her own.

I seem to recall reading that part of the reason Henry Cavill had a falling out with WB was because they had decided to focus on a Supergirl movie instead of a sequel to Man of Steel.

The fallout was debunked by Momoa during the Aquaman press tour.

That's fine with me. There's been almost as many standalone Superman movies as there's been Batman movies through the decades.

I bought my ticket to this event on Sunday, but since I've seen The Death of Superman, I will most likely show up after this movie is over which has a run time about an hour twenty.

Oh, I should tell you folks, "Justice League Vs The Fatal Five" will be worth it.

    https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/justice-league-fatal-five-voice-cast-set-1173352

The film will star Kevin Conroy as Batman, George Newbern as Superman, Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman, Kevin Michael Richardson as Mr. Terrific, Tara Strong as Saturn Girl, Noel Fisher as Brainiac 5, Diane Guerrero as Green Lantern Jessica Cruz, Eleys Gabel as Star Boy. And it will be produced by Bruce Timm.

No, the rumor was more about failing to come to an agreement about how much Cavill would be paid to appear in "Shazam!". It was going to be a small cameo, but one that would help drive the narrative, but was not imperative like Wonder Woman appearing in "Batman Vs. Superman". Then the rumor has been that WB isn't planning to do a solo Superman film, but are considering a Supergirl film. If so, then hopefully the studio will come to an agreement with Cavill to appear, so that there would be a proper origin story. The CBS/CW series has benefited from having it, whereas her first film had issues, but it would have been nice to have had Reeve in it.

Interesting they have Tara Strong as Saturn Girl; where in the past she's voiced other DC characters like Batgirl and Harley.

It's probably easier to get her, than to go back and get Melissa Joan Hart who played Irma in S:TAS.

So...any thoughts on this? Seemingly Kelly Cuoco is voicing Harley. And they got the guy from BBATB to be Batman again so that's cool. Not sure but looks intriguing

Any sign of new Shazam merchandise at retailers as the movie is coming soon?

This is actually the only reason I've given any though to subscribing to DC's subscription service. I don't know how I feel about the new voice for Harley; she had an alternate voice for Batman & HQ that I wasn't really crazy about.

A lot of people didn't like that voice. Yes it was an accented voice compared to this, but it didn't set well with people. Oddly, this feels ok despite not having one.

It's funny, after reading the Mad Love novel, it only had just occurred to me that her cutesy voice with the Coney Island accent was really a fabrication from her real one. As the story goes, she had actually used that voice in her pre-teen years when she stood up to some gangster thugs who were associated with her father.

So it's just something she uses as Harley Quinn? Part of her character? Well that's I guess that makes sense since usually when you see her before being HQ as just a psychiatrist her accent is either not there or not very strong like how it is when she turns to be with the Joker.

I meant that while of course she uses it as Harley, its origins stem from well before she had even heard of Gotham; much less the Joker.

I guess it's just how it's supposed to sound that makes the difference.

Lot of people are used to the original or Tara Strong. So a deviation from that was one reason people didn't like that movie much.

It was just weird watching the Batman and Harley, which was done in the same animated style as the original series, with a completely different voice for Harley.

When Harley farted in the Batmobile I stopped watching Batman and Harley Quinn.

Was that before or after she had the fling with Nightwing? I don't remember.

I believe it was like 10 minutes into the film, so I imagine it was before that.

Honestly, that's more disturbing to me than Batgirl with Batman. Did that belong in Killing Joke? No. Can it fit into the Batman mythos? I can see it, but not in the way they did it.

    But Nightwing and Harley?
