Beatty denied this today. But let us assume it is true. Is it ok that you slept with the same person 13,000 times but not that you had sex with 13,000 different people? The promiscuous are so persecuted.

Imagine having 13,000 kids. That would be awesome.

It's not something to not be proud of. Really, the number itself is neutral. Pride doesn't come into play until we discuss how he reached that number.

 

Realistically, some of us would be lucky to even reach 72...or 27.

 

Seems like it'd be nearly impossible to sleep with 10,000+ individual people, considering that he has to work, eat and sleep. I don't think it's much of a stretch to say that he at least occasionally went a few days at a time without being with a new woman. And surely it took a little time to get some into bed with him. And he must've slowed down with age. And it's impossible for anyone but a savant to keep track of that number without taking pains to keep records. Even rough estimates are rather dubious.

Of course he denied it, 'cause it's probably not true. Also, Wilt Chamberlain regretted sleeping with so many women (probably not 20,000, but enough for him to feel justified making that exaggerated claim), saying, "With all of you men out there who think that having a thousand different ladies is pretty cool, I have learned in my life... that having one woman a thousand different times is much more satisfying."

Way back in the early 90's Gene Simmons of KISS was one of several guests on the Oprah show. He said he had slept with aprrox 2,000 women. That is believable. Rockstar, tour, etc. In the same show Oprah asked him how long his tongue was and he replied, "Long enough to make you my best friend." One of the few times I thought Simmons was cool.

 

And now that he's hawking cherry-flavored Dr. Pepper......not so much.....
