I read in the StarWars Insider (sorry, I don't remember what issue it was) that Bossk was in Jabba's Palace and I can't find him.

Can anyone here please tell where the heck he is in Jabba's Palace?

    Thank you

There is an alien of similar species to Bossk in the cantina in 'ANH' and in Jabba's palace. Both wear red flack-jackets as opposed to Bossk's yellow pilot fatigues. In effect, therefore, there is a Bossk in ROTJ, but not THE Bossk.

Yes, Bossk IS in Jabba's palace. You see a glimpse of him standing in the shadows in an alcove behind Fett. He's also present on Jabba's sail barge, although I think he's out of camera shot.

Thanks! Now, hopefully, my old eyes will be able to see him now!

What do you mean... OLD?! You're only 32, not 62!

Oh, and Lizard. Sorry, but you're colour blind, because Bossk is wearing the same yellow flight suit in Jabba's palace that he did in ESB.

Serving six years in the Marines has a tendence to take a few years off your life especially a combat tour.

I returned from the gulf war (the first one) to my home town almost a year later since I had graduated from high school and everyone said I aged about ten years.

I guess finding landmines make you age a little quicker, huh? Kind of like a clone trooper!

I've heard that being a US troop serving in Baghdad is worse though!

But back to the topic. Did you get to see Bossk in ROTJ? You only see him for a few seconds, but he sure as hell is there. From what I've read, there was a scene in Jabba's sail barge that was cut, where Bossk has a fight with Ree Yees.

    ZM,

A combat tour is no different from any other.

Lizardmonkey: " There is an alien of similar species to Bossk in the cantina in 'ANH' and in Jabba's palace."

Just for the record, that species is called 'Trandoshan'.

I can't say I've ever noticed that before. I'll have to go back and watch for it next time...

Just think, when the DVDs finally come out, things like that battle scene that wound up on the cutting room floor will might be our to see! When are they on schedule to come out, 2050?

Bossk is definitely in Jabba's palace in ROTJ, but it's possible that you can only see him in the letterbox/widescreen version of the film. It's been a while since I've seen this, but he's definitely there....

Yes bossk is there. I saw him myself. You can see the missile launcher part of Boba casting a shadow accross bossk.
Now here's where the trouble begins: Decipher, which made the SW CCG cards for the original trilogy during the 90's, took that scene and added a brownish-red leather jacket onto Bossk with computer technology (cut and paste!) covering the yellow flight suit. Then the card was entitled as a generic 'Trandoshan'.

Sometimes logic is sacrificed for gameplay value. A new version of Bossk at the time would have been of little value to the game, but the generic Trandoshan made gameplay more interesting.

I saw Dengar in Jabba's palace...that's...that's pretty much all I got.

I don't think "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" says anything about Bossk in Jabba's palace at the time of Luke/Han/Leia/Chewie's arrival.

Actually, the mask used for Bossk was a repaint of a creature used in the cantina. The ones with the big black eyes are the Saurin, an offshoot species of the Trandoshans.
