Exactly what it says, I mean star trek fans are called trekkies, what are we?

Absolutly not. That's some dumb word coined by people who can't tell the difference between crap, Star Trek, and pure beautiful gold, Star Wars. I betcha it was the media first.

Any self respecting Star Wars fan would never call himself that. If they do I bet you can find some Captian Janeway underoos in thier dresser drawers.

Erm, we're called Ceethreepio, Lord-Hoth, Saber_leader, DanakinSkywalker, PMT99, --Darth_Dude--, Lord_Makro, Shinar, ObiwanJohn and in my case, Courteney_Rox.

Do we need a generic label? Aren't those just for beer bottles and records? It's not like we need to put it on our passports (I've got Media Assassin and Booty Shaker on mine)...

Anytime I have seen the word "warsies" used on other message boards it's usually being used in a negative way.

I've always either gone by Star Warior or geek. The Seattle Star Wars Society dubbed its members Star Woids, but that was kinda a sucky name.

I am very partial to being labeled a geek. People leave me alone that way.
