Probably, yeah. This is EU, but Leia recalls at one point how Jabba fondled her with his oversized tongue.

And according Max Rebo's tale in TALES FROM JABBA'S PALACE, Leia was also stripped of the Boussh costume and was actually completely naked for a few moments. (I was kind of surprised they let that happen in a SW book.)

As for why C-3PO said that in the movie, I think it's obvious he was just disgusted at seeing Jabba attempting to lick Leia like that.

 

C3PO probably was as disgusted as I am when I visit www.scoutwalker.com (mind you it's rated PG-16)

I believe that C-3PO was just repulsed at the thought of Jabba "licking his chops" (if you will). It would be plain gross it Jabba went for it on RotJ.

However, if the movie was like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" Jabba would have flattened her like a pancake and R2-D2 would have entered the room with an air compressor to re-inflate her. Mayhem would have ensued and everyone would have laughed until Jabba was found out to be played by none other than... Christopher Lloyd.

As for Carrie Fisher looking bad in 1982, someone is on crack. She was very attractive. She has changed over the years, but we all do.
