What do you people think of KIT FISTO

Yae I really want to no what you people think of the jedi master.

 

I kind of hated him up until last night. I was reading up on his bio on Wookiepedia, and he seems like a preety cool guy. I want to get some EU books on him and see him in action. I know a lot of people are really obsessed with him and put him above people like Obi Wan, Anakin, Windu, Yoda which he doesn't deserve, but he's still kinda cool.

And that signature smile...It kinda bugs me Lol.

Kit Fisto-

 

He seems to be a cool guy, but the ROTS novel should have never titled him one of the best saber fighters in the Order.

 

I think Kit Fisto is a pretty cool character but not one of my favorites. He had a few good moments in the Geonosian Arena and the Chancellor's office which I liked. I wouldn't mind reading some EU books with him being a feature character but I'm glad they didn't give him too much screen time.

 

Fisto is cool. The way he smiles after Force pushing the droid onto C-3PO in the Geonosian arena is just great! Too bad he went out like a punk in ROTS, but at least he was the one in Mace's posse that managed put up a little fight before he was cut down after 5 seconds.

 

He did go out to quickly. It would of been cool if him and Windu fought Palpatine for a few a mintutes, then he died, and Mace and Palps went back at it.

 

I know. I think it would have been better if the other Jedi put up more of a fight then they did. If it was a longer lasting fight between Palpatine and the Jedi Masters it would make it more realistic that Mace was actually able to defeat him.
The way it is now Mace is portrayed as lightyears ahead of the other Masters which I think is not the case. Especially Kit Fisto should have put up more of a fight.

 

His smile makes me sick.

He looks pretty cool however and the way he was portrayed in the Clone Wars cartoon was pretty cool also.

Overall I'm kinda indifferent on him. He's a background character that should in no way be considered one of the elite force users in the galaxy.

Besides, his name sound like the name of a cheesy pornstar.

Honestly i don't think of him. I don't read the EU anymore, his character wasn't developed in the movies so to me he's "Annonomous Jedi #8" or whatever.

I bet he's interesting in the EU since they would have the opportunity to develop him, to me his role could be replaced with any random character and it would not change the story.

 

I've read some EU on him and watched the Clone Wars cartoon, and I think he's pretty cool. I love his Form I saber style. He's at the very brink of passion and it really makes you interested. He's a hard fighter, great friend, and awesome Jedi all around. He most definitely should have not been knocked out in the first 2 seconds of the "battle" with Palpatine.

When i hear the name Kit Fisto i think one thing....

overrated.

 

I don't think terribly highly of him, but he is my favorite background Jedi. I was glad he was the one to last longest against Palpatine (besides Mace, obviously).

 

I agree. He gained somewhat of a cult following for some reason or another, perhaps his force push of C3PO and stupid grin. I am not a big Kit Fisto fan, but I do have to say that I prefer him to Ki-Adi-Mundi. I just really thought he was really dopey.

I can relate to that somewhat. Although I have absolutely no sympathy for Plo Koon's death. His face mask thing is really very irritating.

 

Ki-Adi Pwns! He's the only "Background Jedi" to get some lines and he's only behind Mace and Yoda in terms of force ability. I wish that dang Droid Control Ship Raid where in AOTC so we could see him in action .

 

I think Kit Fisto as a character was a great background Jedi with a great personality in the EU, who while not ahead of people such as Kenobi, Skywalker, Windu or Yoda but, had a great appeal because of his unique apperance. That said, I think he's often overrated as seems to be the case with many of the background Jedi on the Council.
