What does Ben Stiller have against fat people?

He does all these movies where he's anti-fat. Heavyweights and Dodgeball. What's up with that?

 

That's because he plays the same two damn characters in his movies.

The "normal but awkward guy": Meet the Parents, Along Came Polly

The **** (where he changes his voice ever so slightly because he's "acting"): Dodgeball, Zoolander

 

True, but IMO he's always very good.

 

Yeah, Zoolander definitely fits in one of those categories.

 

The Royal Tenenbaums fit neither category.

 

Well, that's two damn characters more than you've ever played in Hollywood films.

 

If I were in two films, would that necessarily make me an actor?

 

As long as you acted in them, yes. Which is what Ben Stiller has done. Thusly, Ben Stiller = actor

 

In other news, Michael Brown is a certifiable, trust-worthy, and high-quality disaster/emergency relief expert just because he happeend to hold such a title during one brief period of his life, never mind that he proved grossly unqualified for it.

 

One brief period in life < Career

So,

Michael Brown < Ben Stiller

 

But

Terrible at your job=Terrible at your job


So the comparison may be apt.

 

Well he was chubby as a child too,so some of it is self-deprecation.

everyone is better than ben stiller - even you (which is certainly saying something)

 

Starsky and Hutch is really the only Ben Stiller movie I like. Midnight at the Museum looks really good,too.

 

No dissing Ben Stiller. I don't care for comedies, but I love his movies(Except for Dodgeball and the Tenenbaums one). Zoolander is my favourite comedy of all time...

 

Let's say Harrison Ford is going to be in a new movie. What type of role do you think he'd play? Denzel Washington. What do you think he's going to be? Colin Firth. I can't even begin to imagine what type of role he'll have, goodness no. Steve Carell. Stephen Colbert. Any idea at all what type of role they'll have? So what if Ben Stiller has similar roles in his films? Many actors do.
