in the battle on geonisis then 3po has the droid body, he hays something like " die jedi dogs" but is that what he says or something else? thanks
Basically. But then he's like, "Oh great heavens, what am I saying?!" or something along those lines. It's meant to be because the programming in the Battle Droid's chassis is conflicting with the Protocol-based programming in his.. "head". So he ends up saying stuff like that without really even meaning to. But again, you really must'nt look to much into this sorta stuff. It's just for comic relief during a tension-filled battle. And we've all seen the OT. 3P0's a good-guy.
Yet another reason why some scenes of the prequels were written in all of 3 seconds by Lucas: "Die Jedi Dogs" - Horrible for 3 reasons. 1. It implies that there are 'dogs' somewhere in the Star Wars Universe, and along with Captain Panaka's 'Sitting ducks' is a horrible written line. There was never any reference to earth animals in the OT. 2. The voice. Where the **** did it come from? None of the other battle droids sound like this and its not from threepio. Awful. 3. It follows the truly tragic 'ive got better x-box games' FActory sequence. The sight of a clearly CGI C3PO hanging from the arm of a badly designed flying droid still gives me shivers.....
There was never any reference to earth animals in the OT. Is He Right? What was the name of Han Solo's ship again?
The voice is that of Anthony Daniels. Which means that it's Threepio's voice. I don't get the problem. It's a silly line in a Star Wars movie. Why the buzz? We, uh, ran into some old friends /LM
Also in TPM when Qui Gon surfaces the ship from going through the central core some ducks fly away. And you also see many many earth animals in the whole saga, something called humans.
The line is funny, but this is a good question. Were Trade Federation battle droids programmed to hate Jedi?
