What does "code yellow" mean at Wal*Mart?

The last two times I've been in Wal*Mart, I heard them announce a "code yellow" over the PA system. Anyone actually know what that means (aside from jokes that you think are funny but really aren't that funny)?

 

I'd be labeled a "racist" if I told you what it means. Damn PC police.

 

Someone took a leak in the store, is what I'm guessing!

 

It means one of the greeters dropped dead.

 

It means all employees with neck beards report to the men's room we have a clogged urinal.

 

It means the wait at the check out is less then half an hour so half the cashiers should go on break.

 

Seriously I think it's like lost child or something.

 

It means you can go ahead and be a jerk to all the customers.

 

It means John Travolta has stolen two nuclear warheads.

 

It means that employees turn more dumber than they already are.

 

It means the yellow smiley is on a rollback binge and all employees in the hunting section must grab the harpoon guns and throw him back in his cage before the whole store is free.

 

It means a union is attempting to form and the Walmart Happy Hit Squad will be rolling out soon to do some employee mark downs.

It mean Immigration is comming in, and all Employees are now named John or Mary Smith.

Eh, i worked in a retail store that had codes like that.

Honestly, 90% of them meant absolutely nothing.

The PA-announcement that i love the most is "Security scan to section L".

That means one of the old ladies who works in the craft department think they saw someone shoplifting a box of rolo's. They try to scare you by acting like there's some camera that will SWEEP the area of the shoplifter.

 

It means wal Mart is raising its shields, arming its phaser banks and thus preparing for combat...


oh wait.

 

Code Yellow is a spill. Code Orange is a chemical spill.

 

It means the salaries and health benefits for Wal*Mart employees have been cut again.

 

It could never be something so ridiculous.

 

Of course not! That's just what they say it means...but really, it means the nuclear bomb they've been building is almost ready.
