What does the phrase pro-fiction mean?

    I think it's professional-fiction, referring to published books. :)

    Also, in the context of these boards, the "profic" usually refers to the books published and sanctioned by Lucasbooks.

    Since when? I thought we were generally pro-pun. Also pro-malapropism, spo-proonerism, pro-non sequitur, elevator, pro-referentiality, pro-pane, and pro-pane accessories.


    EDIT: Though I do sometimes question the writers' profic motives. :p

    EDIT II, Bambi's Revenge: And then there was that one book that was so disgusting and jingoistic; I'd never read such a gross national profic.
