The Naboo cruiser that she uses in ROTS to fly from Coruscant to Mustafar. Obi Wan takes it after defeating Anakin, to Polis Massa. Then they all board the Tantive IV and travel to Theed, Naboo, leaving Padme's ship back on Polis Massa.

Or not? Does anyone know what ever happened...to Padme's starship?

It was so..beautiful, sleek, swift, elegant...and must have cost a fortune! Why did they leave it on Polis Massa? Those clone and secret ancient artifact obsessed Polis Massans would probally have taken it apart and display each piece in a gallery or build some mining droid to mine deeper into the asteroid or pawn it, or build a shuttle out of it, or a shelter or something! Did you see the way they were looking at it when it first arrived?? They were as gougy eyed and entranced as the Jawas were about R2 D2 in a rocky canyon!

What happened to Padme Amidala's starship...the universe may never know.....

    Do you?

Maybe it went back to Naboo. I'm sure Padme had to be sent back in something better looking than a cargo hauler.

The Naboo skiff was taken by to Naboo, after her death was made public. It might've been taken aboard the Tantive and put in the cargo hold.

Yeah right. How can that big ship fit in the tantive IV?

The J-Type Nubian skiff was 29.2 meters in length and 49.3 meters in width. The CR70 Corvette before being upgraded to a CR90, both of which is the Tantive IV, was 150 meters long. No official width is given. It's possible. That or someone from Naboo went back to Polis Massa to pick it up. Or one of Bail's crew flew it to Naboo and we just didn't see it.

Most likely someone else flew it, as Obi-wan had the Soulless One in the Tantive's docking bay.

Yeah, I was going to point that out. That the Souless One was docked on the Tantive IV.

At first, I figured 3PO flew the ship back to Naboo, but he's on the Tantive IV, at the end of ROTS...unless he just got on-board, and thats why he's the entry way...hmmm

Nothing happened to it. It is still there. It's getting kind of old, not so shiny anymore and probably doesn't run though, as the movies took place a long, long time ago.

Maybe it was used to pay the doctor bills on Polis Massa. It was outside the Republic wasn't it? They would have no other way to pay them because credits would be worthless like on Tattooine.

Edit....on second thought, I'm thinking of Kamino as being outside the Republic. That brings up another question...how the heck did they pay for the clone army?

One of Bail's pilots probably flew it back to Naboo.

    OK, I'm lost.

    What is the Soulless One?

And what interest do the Polis Massans have in clones or alien artifacts???

The Soulless One is the name of General Grievous' starship.

If you read the DK Inside the worlds of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith reference book, it states how the Polis Massans are colonizers from another planet in that system who beleive that they are the true heir of the people who had once lived on the planet of Polis Massa which was destroyed a long time ago, and they colonized the asteroids which are the only remains of the planet and try to mine it and discover secrets and artifacts from their forgotten homeworld, and with some fossils and dna they find, they clone it, which they learned how to do from the Kaminians who live close by, by the way and revive them.

    So...yeah.

No, it was Dooku who paid for the Clone Army at the outset. He was the heir to a vast family fortune. Enough to pay for an army. Once the Clone Army was discovered, the Republic and later the Empire paid for it. Taxes probably. But Palpatine probably tapped Dooku's fortune.

Count Dooku was count of the planet Serenno by birth right. When he left the Jedi Order, he assumed his true position as Count of Serenno. With this comes royalities and credits.

As far as I know, Serenno is an outer rim planet so their currency would be the same as Tatooine or Kamino.

Capt. Typho took care of that. He was tracing the ship all along, he must have. The ship went back to naboo and was probably passed on to the new queen.

Or, since the past usually ties in seamlessly in the SW universe, Padme's ship maybe was purchased by a high-bidding commercial transport company, used so many times that it started to require patchy, on-the-spot, repairs. Thus, it slowly went on its way to becoming the, "Fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy". So, indirectly, Padme STILL saved the universe with her ship! Heh!

Seriously, I agree it was probably just brought back to Naboo. Perhaps either to be passed on to the successors to the throne, or maybe kept as a memorial.

Why would the Empire pay for clones? If they have no problem destroying planets, then invading one, enslaving the people and taking control of the facility should be no problem.

Just cause they can take things by force, doesn't mean that they won't reward those who do the work. Keeps them loyal.
