ok, im trying to figure out what game this was...it was on ps2, came out a few years ago, just before obiwan for xbox i think. you could play two player co-op. and the right analog stick controlled your lightsaber. i know im not dreaming the game up because my friend remembers playing it with me, and it wasnt obiwan because he doesnt have an xbox and neither of us have played the game.

if anyone knows what game this was, that would be awesome. cuz ive been trying to figure it out all night and come up with nothing.

im pretty sure thats just Obi Wan. I dont know of any other star wars game that featured lightsaber control by just using the analog sticks. However, i never played the jedi knight games on a console, i dont know if they did it that way. But otherwise, its Obi Wan, im pretty sure.

but obiwan never came out on ps2, did it? cuz this game was definitely played on ps2...from what i remember, i want to say that the first level started out with this huge metal door opening into like a huge sewer looking area, platforms, a few jumps, with the grime below you. and you just went through (pretty linear) taking out droids.no side corridors or anything.

Maybe Clone wars? I never played it but it was on the ps2. So its either that or the episode 3 game and that came out long after obi wan.

Um, Clone Wars came out AFTER AOTC and Obi-Wan for Xbox. Not that, lol. And on Clone Wars you used the buttons to swing the Lightsaber. The ONLY SW game to EVER use a right analog stick is Obi-Wan for Xbox, it was the first and the last. I have EVERY SW game, I KNOW. I actually enjoyed using the stick, still do, something connecting about it.

Greatest gameplay aspect for Obi-Wan. The Jedi Knight games, when using a Lightsaber, has you you the R1 triggers for the Lightsaber. Besides the fact that it was ONLY for the Xbox. So it's Obi-Wan kiddo, end of story.

Jedi Power Battles was a pre-Obi-Wan co-op lightsaber game, though no analog combat, and the first level was on the Trade Fed Battleship.

That game you described does sound an awful lot like Obi-Wan. It's already been said, but really, the only lightsabre games out before then were the Jedi Knight games and JPB, and none of them gave you analogue blade control.

the only other game i can think of that had a blade swung in relation to how you moved the mouse was die by the sword, a long forgotten 3dfx/power vr powered game that also took in hit placement in an awesomely destructive way.

But no, doesn't sound like power battles, or any other star wars game that comes to mind

Was it Rebel Strike for the Gamecube? There were some foot levels on that game.

Yeah, but again, it was just tap a button to make the lightsabre swing. And you only had a lightsabre in 2 missions, 3 if you want to go to a stretch and count Battlefield Hoth. And it came out only in 2003.
