Okay, so what happens if, during the duel on Geonosis, Yoda chops of Dooku's Hands, and of course being a Jedi doesn't kill an unarmed opponent...
So what happens with Dooku? What would they do? Do they keep him prisoner? Take him to a cell in the Jedi temple?

Anakin implies that there is a death penalty on the books by stating that incarceration is
where Dooku is headed, "If you're lucky."

How about strapping him in a chair ala A CLOCKWORK ORANGE and forcing him to whatch that
Sham-WOW guy for a couple of hours?

Trial for crimes against civilization, like Kar Vastor.

And potentially the undoing of the Sith plot against the Republic, too.

Okay, so he would be trialed, but how does one keep a SithLord in prison for long?

Did he get captured in the CW (Looking at Picture)

What would have happened to the Spearatists/Armies?

If Yoda had captured Dooku on Geonosis, then he would have also captured the death star designs. Which could well have included more information, such as the location of were it would be built. And who was building it.

The seperatists would have lost there leader, and it would have thrown Darth Sidious grand plan into disarray.

But overall, i think Sidious would have continued and he would probably still have taken control of the senate and Anakin regardless.

Nothing would've changed if the Jedi had captured Count Dooku because as we see in ROTS, Darth Sidious is the real leader of the Seperatists/armies and the Clone Wars will have continued on even without Dooku.

Anakin would have become Vader even sooner. Sidious could always use Anakin's weakness against him; and his fanatical devotion to himself as the Supreme Chancellor against the Republic, after he knew he was married - Anakin was never sure about the fate of his child. So, for Palpatine, no child, no problem.

Anakin and Padme likely would have still gotten married, thus Palpatine would have used that to seduce Anakin to the Dark Side.

The Separatist leaders such as Gunray and the gang would have been around to carry on the CIS. Greivous, I believe, had been turned into the Cyborg General prior to the Battle of Geonosis and thereby could have led the CIS under leadership of Darth Sidious.

Basically everyone was expendible to Palpatine/Sidious except perhaps Anakin in his prime. The Clone Wars likely would have carried on by any means until Palpatine had gained enough favor in the Senate to turn the Republic into the Empire.

As for Dooku, likely he would have been taken prisoner and faced a trial much like Anakin says in ROTS. As to whether or not he would have been executed or if he might have escaped, we may never know.

My guess is that Palpatine would continue using General Grevious as a tool, pitting him against Asaaj Ventriss for apprenticeship. Grevious would run the Separatist Army while Asaaj would perform peripheral tasks.

If Palpatine were wise he would require Asaaj to assassinate Padme, while Anakin and Obi Wan were on the hunt for General Grevious, further fueling Anakin's anger and guilt which Palpatine could use to pull Anakin toward the Sith. Grevious would be destroyed, along with Anakin's hope of life and love.

This ruse would only work if Anakin were to be told by Palpatine upon arrival that she was murdered by the Jedi so that Anakin's focus would turn completely to the Order. Such corrupt manipulation is not above Palpatine. Perhaps somehow, it could even be suggested that Obi Wan was involved.

Anakin, then, fueled by anger would attack the Jedi, with Order 66 initiated. Asaaj would assist him in destroying the Jedi, then when the moment was right after Anakin was transformed by his confrontation with Obi-Wan, Palpatine reveals Asaaj Ventriss to be the killer. Anakin slays Ventriss completing his apprenticeship.

    This is only a theory.

Dooku's charisma and leadership were integral to the Separatist cause. His reputation as a diplomat helped bring systems in to the separatist camp. It would have been a severe blow. Luckily for them Dooku was as clever as he was powerful.

Sidious would have gotten his way in the end probably, but it could've taken longer or gone less smoothly.

Dooku would have been placed on trial. But with me as his lawyer, he'd have been a free Sith in no time.

Then he would have become a judge on TATOOINE IDOL.

Ahsoka Tano would have written a book entitled "COUNT DOOKU, COUNT DOOKU: HE'S JUST A BIG POO-POO".
