What happened immediately after the geonosis battle?

So the Yoda Dooku battle is over. Apparently the droid army is in full retreat. Retreat to where? The catacombs with the Geonosisians? All the ships have taken off or knocked over/destroyed. So the jedi/clones mop up what's left and then assemble back at their A"star destroyers" to leave. Do they bomb the factories out of existance, leave a garrison to watch? Obviously they're not going to genoside the planet but they just can't do nothing.

What of the ships in orbit. Obviously they could have left a few "star destroyers" in orbit to slag them so they couldn't leave or perhaps for the most part they escaped. There were spheres still coming up when dooku was able to flee.

 

Right before the Jedi/Sith battle and right after the Battle of Geonosis in the execution arena the Clone War immediately happened, duh.

 

What happened immediately after the geonosis battle?

Then you see the rise of the empire of the stormtoppers

 

I'm guessing a garrison was left there. Remember, I doubt that the war re-started right away after said battle, which is why the clonetroopers went through Coruscant before leaving for the front, instead of leaving for the front directly from Kamino (which obviously would've gotten them into action a lot faster than Kamino-Coruscant-wherever the Seperatists are)

 

Obi-Wan and the Jedi collected all of the dead and had a helluva bonfire!!!

 

Just to clarify they aren't star destroyers. They are Acclamator-class trans-galactic military transport ships. Though they look similar they are alot smaller! Star Destroyers were too big to land on a planet, but these are small enough to. They were basically big transport ships with minimal fire power. They had enough fire power to defend themselves, but not really enough to go head to head with a capital ship.

 

As for right after I'm sure the clones had air support for the jedi and made sure they got out. And then war.

 

They all went out for drinks.

 

There was a digitaly filmed scene were it show's a couple Clonetroopers blowing swarms of fleeing Geonosians out of the sky with their blasters, so I'm assuming they exterminated the hiding Geonosians prior to the battle-planted some charges in the foundrys and then leveled them leaving the planet almost futile to retake on the Separatists part . Then at the end we see dozens of the Assault ships lifting off and loading thousands of Clonetroopers, tons of vehicles etc into them and going to the frontlines. The Clone War is far from over in one battle. The Jedi and Republic army has to retake all the military pro-confederate planets as well as their previous main base(Geonosis).
