I was just wondering... I don't recall having seen any clonetroopers being wounded in the final battle...

But what happened to the clonetroopers who were wounded during battle? Did they get taken away for medical treatment, or were they just left there to die? :(

At what point would they decide a clonetrooper's life was *not* worth saving? And what happened if a clonetrooper had a limb blown off by the enemy? Could they grow a new limb with the help of the cloners?

They probably left them to die.

They probably just finished them off if they were wounded and then threw them in the garbage heap.

    Good question.

I think because at this point the jedi are still involved directly with the clones so they get treated ok, but by the time of the OT, they are SOL if they get wounded beyond simple repair.

The clonetroopers are replaceable, so probably not.

"Didn't anybody care for the clonetroopers' health??"

Apparently not, poor buggers. Heck, the clonetroops on Kamino aren't even fed! You'll notice that the clones are picking at empty bowls, plates, and cups! One clone is even cutting thin air with a fork and a knife!

Do you think that their brains are genetically designed to make them think that they are eating something? ;) :p

nope, they're slaves. They don't even really have a reason to care for each other. Breading an army is pretty imoral, so I can't imagine they get treated well. Though in old Lucasfilm stuff from 1978 they say how stormtroopers with a full record of service get to go to clone retirement planet where they are given women and alcohol :D

but a very low percantage get there because they usually get offed some how.

Stormtroopers are also super loyal to their commanding officer and there's all sorts of in fighting with in the empire, troopers killing officers for other officers.

We only saw one actually get shot, as they're evacuating the Jedi from the arena. Some others, who were aboard the AT-TEs and the gunships that were destroyed, definitely died.

So going by the movie alone, next to no clonetroopers could have possibly been wounded on the battlefield.

But the movie couldn't possibly show *everything* that happened during the battle of Geonosis...
I wonder how many clonetroopers actually died... :(

But wasn't a big dish in the way? It's impossible to tell what they were eating...

A big dish is in the way in most of the shots, but there is one clone in particular, off to the left whose "food plate" is not obstructed, and he is stabbing away at nothing....

Maybe he's just taking out some of his clone rage on the bowl. "Empty! AGAIN! Die, bowl!"

Thinking about it, this whole clone thing gives Temura Morrison a great excuse after starring in 'Barb Wire'...

"No, no, that wasn't me in that film. It was...a clone of me. Yes."

He's not stabbing at nothing. There's a white chunk of something he's digging into that blends in with the plate.

Well, I'm sure there *had* to be plenty of fish on Kamino...
Maybe they liked fish & chips, too?? ;)

Something white in the bowl, well that gives us something to go on.
So, we're looking for a likely foodstuff that's white.

I guess it could be meat from those big whale things. Or maybe a food cube or something. Or maybe a nice bit of Brie.
    Any other guesses?
