What is C-3PO talking about in RotJ?

What is 3PO telling the Ewoks about in RotJ if he got his memory erased after EPIII?

 

He's telling them about the adventures he's had in ANH, ESB, and ROTJ.

Nothing to do with pre-OT times.

"Torrrronto-gosh! Chiminey doooooooooo!"

 

It seems like it's a reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaally shortened version.

 

We also don't know for sure if he gets his memory erased or not... they are DROIDS after all... they can simply be ordered to forget certain people and certain situations, or ordered never to reveal their pasts concerning the Skywalker family.

 

Can someone post the dialogue? I havent seen RoTJ in quite some time, but I don't remember anything in there pre-ANH.

 

He never said anything about the PT
He only talked about Luke, Han and Leia and the events of OT.

Well I think that's the point - he has developed to the point where he can. sort of like the characters in Wizard of Oz - they realise through the adventure that they do have a heart, courage etc.

he's translating the South Park "Star Wars in 30 Seconds" into Ewokese.

 

IIRC, the Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide has the complete translation into Basic.

 

Cp0 did have a really short version of it.

i think he mentioned obi wan, then 3 words later he said something about carbonite, then the next couple of phrases had to do with the sarlacc and so on...

really now, why get screwed into buying the whole trilogy, when all you needed were those all-important 5 seconds in the middle of ROTJ?

(walker sounds) But master Luke got in his snowspeeder and exploded them all. (snowspeeder and explosion sounds) Oh my,and then we all got in the Millennium Falcon,and flew to Cloud City. (Falcon flyby sound)And it was so beautiful there,very serene,but stormtroopers...ahmmy.Don't shoot! Ahh! I was shot,and everything fell off.My hands,my legs,and my head.But things were worse for Hna Solo.He was frozen in carbon,and we thought he was dead. (carbon-block-hits-florr-sound) But he wasn't,and we all rescued him,and that's how we got to be here.We've come to seek your aid in fighting these enemies.Please help us

hmmm...I had always wondered what he was talking about with "Toronto Gosh". For some reason, I thought it was the Rancor he was talking about, and had just forgotten that the Rancor stuff happened after Cloud City.

 

Actually I thought it was the garbage squasher that was making the "Toronto Gosh" sounds.
