What is the symbol for Francs?

    the first one is a piound sign, as in pounds sterling, british currency. The second one is more like it.

    The first, I know, is the symbol for English pounds. By the way, France now uses Euros as opposed to Francs.

    The first, I know, is the symbol for English pounds. By the way, France now uses Euros as opposed to Francs.

    I don't think so 'cause XE.com has Francs. If you go to one of the drop windows it's there.

    I don't think so 'cause XE.com has Francs. If you go to one of the drop windows it's there.

    I think so. The same site shows all the countries that have converted to the Euro - France included.

    [color=663300]ousley, I don't think you should use the francs symbol but rather write out the word "francs". From what I remember from my English classes in college, it's not proper English to put the symbol in there. [/color]

    ousley, I don't think you should use the francs symbol but rather write out the word "francs". From what I remember from my English classes in college, it's not proper English to put the symbol in there.

    That's understandable. I think I'll just spell it out then. :p
