PT What is your favorite version of Padme's ship?

Padme used several different types throughout her service to Naboo and serving as its Queen & Senator. Which one do you like the best?

 

For me probably the H-type nubian yacht. It looks sleek and screams fast.

 

The Royal Starship. It has a sleek, beautiful design about it. The Nubian Yacht does, too, but it has too much of a 1950s spaceship look to it, and the skiff's wings seem unnecessarily large. The Royal Starship, though, is perfect!

Agreed. The Royal Starship is just so beautiful to look at! So sleek and well designed. Very iconic if you ask me

I have a bit of an oddly nostalgic connection to the 327, but aesthetically, I very much like the H-type

Very hard to choose. The Naboo's space vehicles are pure art. I like them all. They are a true example of the technology of the Republic Golden Era: functional yet beautiful and elegant.

HevyDevy Same reason why it's my favorite. 1999 was an awesome year.

 

They all are unique in their design. I love the 327 the most, mostly for its introduction into the Nubian craftmanship back in 1999.

 

I would have voted for the flying wing if it were in the poll, but since it wasn't I went with the Royal Starship. The sleek curves make me think of the old fashioned automobiles you see in mafia movies, but in a spaceship form.

J-type Star Skiff for sure! Man, what a cool design. And the sound it makes when it comes roaring in to Polis Massa!!! Yea. Cool ride.

Sounds like a lot of us are on the same page, as I'd have to say the the 327 Nubian would be my favorite for nostalgic reasons. However, once I step back and look at them, I have to go with the Nubian Yacht.

 

Totally! Good times...even though I was only 10/11 back then! Haha

 

Nubian. It looks best and I love Watto's line about it. Good question, I'm glad I'm in the majority's opinion online for once

 

I admittedly was obsessed with the Nubian when TPM came out. Wanted the play set vehicle so freaking bad, but never got it. I would still kill for it.

The H-type Nubian yacht, if nor no other reason than including the word "yacht" into the saga's glossary of ships. But then, "skiff" is pretty rad, too. And on top of that radness, the J-type 327 looks like the love child of the SR-71 Blackbird and the Silver Surfer.

So I guess my answer is: all three because I said so.

 

No problem. Star Wars fans are supposed to look out for each other
