I do love timtams, especially since I was touched by his holiness, the Timtam Genie...

But I have to say the Pub culture, coupled with the BBQ and warm weekends watching the cricket.

Although the word 'arvo' is possible my favourite slang word. Confuses the hell out of americans!

okay first off, by reading "Hold on, back up" I now hove Boom Shake the Room but the Fresh Prince of Bel Air in my head, thankyouverymuchly!

He held my hand for about two seconds at Splendour! I was impowered with his magic powers for about 30 minutes but alas there were no timtam packets in sight in the middle of Belongil Field

I'm going to be a true Australian and not choose any of them because I'm bloody lazy and proud of it. The only thing I'm passionate about is apathy.

I'd seek legal action. Nobody has the right to touch you in your bathing suit area.

 

Yes, I often find people touching me in my bathingsuit area (ie: My Hand) to be in serious need of a legal slapping.

I love the lingo. We Aussie's come up with some of the strangest sayings... Like I used to have this book with heaps of saying in it, and the one that stuck in my head was always the "flybog sanger". Apparantly that's a jam sandwich.

 

I just remember kids saying they'll dob on me, and I had no idea what the hell they meant by that. So I continued my evil ways...and then found out. Meh...

 

Ahh yes...I recall that little tantrum phrase kids used to use: "Ah mamma mamma! I'm dobbing on you! You flushed Bugs Bunny down the dunny and I don't think it's very funny!"

When I heard this, I for one didn't know what a dunny was! I assumed at the time it was some sort of river...

 

I pretty much assumed it was a giant communal long drop...but at least it's more hydenic that what happened where I come from...

"That's alright, there's a bush over there. Go and use that."

Never happened to me, but if I was you I wouldn't touch any trees in Soth Africa.

I have to say that the Beer (Pubs & Mateship, liquid induced laughter) and Barbeque (Outdoor friendship, family gatherings) should be one in the same what can be better than having a BBQ with your mates ans sinking as much piss(bber) as humanly possible. I'd have voted for beach but I dont like the beach that much that not Im willing to drive 4 hours to get to a beach.

Well, from what I've Gathered, this thread is styled very much like the asinine polls of Census started by a former Aussie moderator who has recently been permbanned.

And of course I'm not accusing Zinergy of anything, it's pure coincidence that one appears in the same month the other is banned. Pure coincidence.
