He likes Christmas music at times other than Christmas.

He cannot understand the virtuosity of guitar god Tosin Abasi.

    He does not like djent.

He does not like the musical perfection of Richard Wagner.

He cannot decide if Ringo Starr or Lars Ulrich is the best drummer in history.

There is no mystery here. The requirements to be a good artist are:

    1. Be an honorable person
    2. Discourse on an honorable topic or stance in your artwork
    3. Good musical composition

Those who meet these standards are accepted. Those who do not are rejected.

This is a scurrilous falsehood. Will Smith was raised by Christians and gives more money to Christian organizations than any other religious entity.

    Well

    1) Be honourable people - met. They are/were activists in favour of a number of causes which protect the most at-risk parts of society including the poor and ethnic minorities,
    2) Discourse on an honourable topic or stance in your artwork - the song is about the hypocrisy of a US government which is "pro-family" and "pro-war".
    3) Good musical composition - the solo in particular is worth noting here because by sliding his palms across the bottom two strings, tuned down to Eb and Ab, and toggling the pickup selector he can replicate the sound of a turntable scratch. Not only technically proficient but paying homage to hip hop.

Also, how does Mr Smith fit the criteria. 1) Scientologist, narcisstic, bad parent. 2) How is getting jiggy honourable, and 3) Let me laugh haughtily at this.

    1. How is promoting "Rage" honorable? This is not a good emotion and encouraging people to indulge in it is behind many toxic developments in today's world, including the high incidence of violence and the political success of Donald Trump.
    3. Rock and roll is not a good form of composition. They are technically poor singers using an inferior form

    Final Verdict: Dishonorable.

If we all lived by the rules this would be a sad world and some of us might still be in chains. You need to expand beyond you narrow mind Wocky.

    Who is Dylan Thomas?

vin if we all lived without rule the world would be an ocean of anarchic violence and chaos. Many of us would not be alive. You all need to stop being concerned with being so new-fangled and outside the box, and get back inside it.
