What kind of peanut butter do you like?

Creamy
The old stand-by. Great taste, plain and simple.

Crunchy
A more masculine, "old school" peanut butter.

Whipped
The "anti-crunchy" peanut butter. The light texture, easy spreadability, and sweet-nutty taste make this a great alternative to mainstream peanut butter fare.

Natural
This is the grainy stuff with a layer of peanut oil floating on top. Tastes great, but have some milk on stand-by because this stuff takes the whole "sticks to the roof of your mouth" thing to a whole new level.

Peanut butter/jelly hybrids
Lameness taken to the Nth degree. Goober Grape is the archtype for this pathetic kiddie fodder. Best eaten while listening to New Kids On The Block music.

Semi-pseudo-quasi-peanut butters
Hazel nut spread and the like. No comment here. This is beyond the scope of this thread.

Creamy is the winner. Ease of spreading, lack of crunchyness and superior flavor make it my peanut butter of choice.

I like, at different times -- crunchy and creamy (and whipped, if Jif is considered whipped).

I don't eat PB much anymore due to the hydrogenated oils, but I generally liked crunchy on sandwiches and creamy on celery, spoons and... other, sundry things...

 

I dont like peanut butter at all, yet strangely I enjoy both Reeses' cups and pieces.
