I've been rereading Into the Dark, and have been playing some KotOR I and II soundtrack and ambient noise in the background. For me the music has the right mix of nostalgia, mystery, and foreboding that fits the High Republic era quite well. Right now I'm listening to: What Star Wars related music/ambience do you listen to and when?
Got these on my phone's playlist: Imperial March Rage Mix Bastila's theme Rakatan ruins battle Darth Malak duel Asteroid Field Revenge of the Sith opening crawl and battle Rogue Squadron 64 main title theme Search for the Nonnah Rogue Squadron 64 battle theme (one of them anyway)
When my wife rings, the ringtone is Emperor Palpatine’s theme. I thought it was funny. My wife does not.
I used to listen to just about all of it, these days to get my Star Wars music fix, I mostly just listen to The Phantom Menace soundtrack. It's fantastic and not just because of Duel of the Fates lol. Also, I really like to listen to the Jedi Fallen Order/Soundtracks. The various tracks from the Jedi Survivor Cantina stand out to me. For a crazy Jedi action video game, that Cantina music can be really soothing
I love the music in the Star Wars Jedi games, and as much as I despised Star Wars: Outlaws, the music was great
Agreed. I also liked how the very simple opening theme was then used in different variations and styles to evolve with the characters.
That reminds me, I need to pick up the soundtrack for that show. I'm usually pretty quick on the draw, but it got lost in the usual January chaos. As for what I'm listening to right this instant...
Spotify has this Star Wars playlist of all kinds of "party" music: Oga's Radio by DJR3X. It's pieces that would be playing in cantinas, dance halls and on juke boxes.
