That picture was from way back in late January when he obviously put a little weight on during the holidays, like normal people do. He has since toned down again and the most recent picture of him from June 4th has him looking quite handsome again.

Weight gain combined with aging. And smoking isn't exactly a good choice for healthy bodies or good skin. If you want to give your body the best shot, don't overeat; don't go in the sun; and don't smoke. Keep the drinking right down, too. He looks very Anakin-like in that second link. See what gaining and losing a few pounds can do to your complexion? Just one of several lifestyle choices everyone has the power to make. Hayden is still a good-looking guy.

As a 33 soon to be 34 year old, I can tell you that as you hit your 30's things do begin to sag around the neck and chin slightly.

littlemissrock, you need to take out the initial http:// for it to work. He looks...normal to me. Maybe less slim, but he actually resembles Jake Lloyd and Sebastian Shaw more in that photo, in my opinion.

I don't think Hayden's particularly good-looking but he looks normal and fine for him in both pics. It boggles my mind that so many are so anti-aging/physical change in appearance. It's normal, folks. It happens to everyone.

He just looks like your average 30 year old man. Like I said things do start to sag ever so slightly around the chin when you hit your 30's.

 

One thing that tends to happen as you go from your twenties to thirties is your eyes get a little heavier set. That is, they seem to shrink back more into your face, which can gave a slightly fatigued, bloated impression. At least, that has been an observation I have made looking at celeb photos. If you go on Getty Images and compare pictures of Hayden taken in 2002, say, and pictures taken in the last year or so, you may see this in his case. I'm 28 and I haven't noticed any real change in my appearance as I head to 30, but I guess it'll happen eventually; or rather, I guess it's already happening and I'll suddenly notice it one day and then never stop noticing. Aging, eh?

 

He is getting older and more powahfull.

 

I turned 30 a few months ago. You can see a few veins under my left eye quite distinctly.

 

Ya know, Jake Lloyd could play Owen Lars now.

 

Jake Lloyd. Guy is hella cool. But back to Hayden: He's not only looking older, but SOUNDING older. I mean, I've seen and heard him in older clips, dating back to the time of AOTC and ROTS, and he doesn't have that drawl. Interesting.
