Darth Sidious named his sith apprentices as we all know after watching ROTS. the coronation scene takes place and the apprentice kneels before him and he gives them a new darth name.





Darth Tyranus real name was dooku.

Darth vaders real name was Anakin.

Darth sidious real name was Palpatine.


What was Darth Maul's real name? And when and where was he given the title of Darth?

how did Obi-wan kenobi know that Sifo_dyas was killed ten years ago? perhaps he recognized that Sifo had become darth maul and he killed him. thats how he knows. ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! WOW.

It's possible that Maul didn't have a real name; Palps took him from Iridonia when he was a baby.

 

I heard it was Khameir Sarin or something like that but I also heard that's only in the Russian novelization of TPM.

His name was Mango Fett, clone of Bungo Fett, Jango Fett's Uncle Booba Fett's clone.

 

Obi-Wans reaction didnt leave much hint that it could be Maul.

1. Sifo, according to Lama Su, Sifo was a member of the Jedi order. Darth Maul was not.
2. Obi-Wan states that he was killed as Sifo Dias. Darth Maul were killed by Obi-Wan (I suppose Obi-Wan would known if it was Sifo)
3. Sifo was killed ALMOST ten years ago. Darth Maul was killed ten years ago (it might or might not be a time difference here)
3. When a person are knighted as a Darth, he stops using the other name.
(the only person who still use his name are Count Dooko, a exception)

But hey..... I liked the idea. Its not impossible that it could be him...

I don't know who Maul was, but he wasn't Sifo-Dyas.

Long story short, we don't know Maul's true name and we never will.

Does this mean that Sifo-Dias was a Sith too? Is it possible that Sifo was Sidious apprentice after Maul, and then Dooko killed him, and became the next apprentice after Sifo?
